I wasn’t expecting this to be tinted. Not sure this would work on deeper skin types as the tint is very light beige. However, it looked decent on my skin by itself without makeup on top.

My new favorite primer!
Primer is always expensive but this one is way more affordable compared to others I have tried – especially since the sunscreen is built in. It is tinted a slight beige color but I didn’t notice it change my complexion at all and I was able to wear my normal foundation.It is more liquidy than other primers I have used but like others a lot goes aong way. I love that this is SPF 30 as it actually saves me time and money applying a separate sunscreen product. Sunscreen is a must for all in my opinion, even when not in the sun and this Neutrogena primer is an awesome way to include it!This primer put in WORK and allowed my makeup to look beautiful from 7 AM to 10:30 PM on a busy work day plus post-work retirement party for a colleague.I also really like that this foundation doesn’t have any smell. I am super sensitive to smelly products and wouldn’t be able to wear it if it smelled. It is just a tad greasy like sunscreen but it absorbs so quickly. I will definitely be getting this primer again!

Neutrogena’s Healthy Skin Invisibly Radiant UV Face Primer comes in a compact flat bottle that takes up little room, making it easy to store or carry w/ them to reapply as needed. I do have some concerns about its ability to dispense all of the product as it nears the end due to its shape, but it works well for now. Although convenient, it could benefit from a pump or some alternative method for more controlled dispensing and to ensure that every drop of product is used.Initially, I was quite skeptical once I squeezed some of the primer out and noticed its color and texture. I am pretty fair-skinned and there was no way that this was going to work for me. When I applied a few drops to my face, my doubts continued to linger. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how incredibly well it blended, smoothing out my complexion beautifully. I experienced no tackiness and the oiliness I was initially worried about vanished once it dried within short time.I am more concerned about sun protection than make-up prep so wasn’t sure whether this product would be for me, but Neutrogena’s primer seems to be a solid choice and I look forward to continuing its use.

Lightly tinted, thinner consistency
Lightly mattifying and leaves the skin with a smooth velvet like feel. Somewhat pore filling but not as much as some others so I wanted to mention that. Overall though works really well and my make up lasts all da, doesn’t cause any pilling under the foundation. Does have a light tint to it but seemed to dry transparent, I’m very pale though so it was hard to tell. I love saving a step and having the spf in a primer is a great tool. Works well even for a no make up day for some quick protection. It’s pretty thin consistency and does not take a lot to get full face coverage. Nice thin tube so it doesn’t take up much room for travel!

I’ve been using the Neutrogena Daily Defense for a few years, but this is the first time I am using this one. It absorbs into my skin well, and also my skin feels very moisturized. This SPF is perfect for travelers because it provides great sun protection in such a small package. I just wish it didn’t turn my skin slightly pink. Not sure if I should continue using it.
