This is a good quality set of 10 natural goat and horse hair brushes that work very well and are very good quality. This is not a full face set, but is a full eye set, it does not have face brushes in this set. But this brand makes a variation and set to match this with a set of face brushes, I have that set and it’s also excellent and I highly recommend it as well. Both this and the face set (not included with this) look, feel and perform like high end brushes.10 different brushes are included. But note there is no slim liner brush. It is a full eye shadow brush set with a good variety of eye-shadow application and blending brushes. You can apply eyebrow powder or eyeliner with the angled brush. The mascara spoolie brush works well for brows or for lashes.The brushes are full sized in the bristles and handles and are not undersized or travel sized. The shapes, styles and bristle density are good for the uses and they work well. I find I get a better application with goat and natural bristles for powder products than I do with even high end synthetic bristles. It’s a dark, natural almost furniture like finish to the natural beech handles. The handles have the brand name, brush number and brush style printed don them. They have a good grip and feel in the hand and are very nice handles. The metal brush ferrules are very nice and sturdy.Note that these are not vegan or cruelty free as they are not synthetic, but are natural goat and horse bristle brushes. It’s not clear in the listing, on the brushes or in the booklet that comes with them which ones are goat, horse or blended.They are very soft and high quality natural bristles. I would say the quality of the bristles and brushes overall reminds me of the quality, feel and performance of the natural goat and horse bristles made by Morphe. They are very soft and dense, and the quality is excellent. You may have some minor occasional shedding that all natural fibered brushes have, but I didn’t notice it with these, it can happen with any natural brush.They have the faintest natural bristle scent but it is very, very mild and you won’t notice it unless when washing them (which is normal for goat or horse bristles) or when (as I did) seeing if they have any scent. I could only tell when testing them for scent by seeing if I could detect it, but didn’t notice it during normal use.I’m not sure if the darker ebony toned bristles such as these and in some other brushes is from a different type of goat or horse or is unbleached or is dyed. But if you’ve used goat or horse hair brushes, the lighter ivory ones are fluffier and have a lighter touch with powders. The darker bristles are a little stiffer, denser have more body to them and tend to blend powder a bit better. I find that for a lighter application I prefer the ivory goat bristles (not included in this set) and for heavier application and blending, I get a better result with the darker goat or horse bristles (such as in this set).They did include a booklet with the brush uses. The listing pictures also shows the brushes in detail and each use. You may want to save or refer to the listing pictures for future reference.No brush cup or roll is included. They did include a nice, soft drawstring bag for storage, but I prefer storing brushes with more separation to protect the bristles.Be gentle when washing these or any natural fiber brushes. They do wash well and don’t shed. I’d suggest using a gentle face wash vs harsh soap. I usually use Cerave Foaming Face wash on my brushes and find it does a good job cleaning them. Be careful to tilt bristles downward during cleaning and rinsing to keep water out of the brush ferrule. I like to lay may brushes on a clean towel on a clean plate to dry. I remove the towel after about 30 minutes or so so they aren’t sitting on something damp, then leave them on a plate to air dry.

I love this set. I can definitely tell the difference with natural hairs vs. synthetic. These brushes are softer and fluffier, they pick up powdered pigments a little bit better and blend them out a little bit easier. This kit contains a good variety of brushes to cover just about any task. The handles are nicely balanced and the ferrules are well attached. Very good starter or travel set at an affordable price price.
