Great stuff!
Incredible wax! I don’t use the pick that’s included because i find it just easier to heat the entire top layer of the can and dip my finger into the wax and apply it quickly from base to tip and repeat with the heat and apply until i achieve the desired result and man does death grip wax hold! This stuff dries solid and holds incredibly well and even held the moustache in place when i ran on a treadmill for a full hour sweating and breathing in and out of the nose and mouth. I don’t know much about other brands but when you want to dress up your moustache and make it fancy use this brand because this is the brand that professional hair performers trust and use and i definitely will buy this again when the can i have now runs out. I can’t recommend this product enough and if you are buying the death grip wax you definitely need to buy the wax remover oil in a bottle cause the oil makes the wax mushy so you can remove it easier at the end of the day. BUY THIS!

Waxing Stronger Than My Morning Coffee
This is the Hercules of mustache waxâsuper strong, reliable, and ready to wrestle even the wildest handlebars into submission. Once you warm it up (pro tip: blow dryer + pea-sized ball = stache magic), it applies smoothly and lasts through anything. Motorcycle rides? Check. Camping trips? Double check. Basically, if your mustache doesnât hold with this, youâre doing something wrongâor drinking lava.Yes, the new tins have a bit of a smell, but it fades like my Monday motivation, so no big deal. Itâs tacky, long-lasting, and an absolute beast at keeping the curls in place. The only downside? Heat is your best friend, and without it, this wax could probably double as superglue. If youâve got the patience (and a blow dryer), this stuff is a game-changer. But fair warning: it holds so well that even washing it off might feel like a side quest.

It’s stiff! (the wax…perv)
It does exactly what it’s supposed to. It holds my stache in place when I want that look. The only issue I have is that I find it hard to work with. I heat it up with a hairdryer but it gets all over the sink and then is tough to get off my hands. It’s probably me but 4-stars it is.

High quality stache wax
Finally ran out of my 3 cans of Death Grip, by Vintage Grooming. A wax I am thoroughly impressed by and use every day.I was invited to purchase Bone Crusher on an early batch but still had a mountain of Death Grip and did not need another tin in my supplies. That said; I would have bought 2 had I known just how great the latest offering from Vintage Grooming is.I ordered a can, and was rather excited.I absolutely love the packaging and branding from Vintage Grooming. I own a tee shirt and their stickers decorate my work shop. And I find uses for the tins. And the guitar picks are a little extra detail that really make their wax stand out.So I couldn’t wait to see the latest art featured on the Bone Crusher.I was not disappointed. The art is phenomenal and unique. But Art doesn’t make the wax.The price is right in line with their other waxes. It won’t break the bank and your money will go far. And it’s money well spent.Opening my Bone Crusher; very easy.I’ve had trouble with Death Grip. Once the wax gets on the threads, there are times I need channel locks to break that sucker open. I have yet to see if BC gooks up the threads in a similar fashion. But so far, it has not been an issue. To solve the DG unthreading problem, I simply do not engage the lid fully. I don’t have to apply it more than once a day, and therefore have no need to carry it with me. And no need to seal it.This is a first world problem and does not take away from DG which I rate 5 stars.Bone Crusher is not as sticky. It is a tough wax. Rock hard in the can. A hairdryer is absolutely required.Thankfully, the residue doesn’t cling to the hairdryer or the plug.I’ve had Death Grip on just about every item in my house at one point or another. Not so much with Bone Crusher. It has a manly smell. Not flowery or perfumed. That’s not to say it smells bad.It is a pleasant scent and appropriate for a mans stache. It smells fresh and clean. Just not overpowering.Heating it up with a hairdryer on high heat. It takes much longer than DG. Stays liquid for a very brief time and is dry by the time it gets to the stache. Therefore more heat is needed. It goes in wonderfully smooth. It doesn’t clump or clot. My stache doesn’t separate into multiple strands. And therefore the wax just coats everything evenly and requires very little. And that little will go a long way. A few dips in the liquid wax on each side. A few strokes. Some pinches and smoothing. A few tweaks to shape it.In spite of a longer heat time. It takes less time to shape and form and get a good even coat than with DG.My stache looks natural and full. It doesn’t look like I’ve got any product in. And it remains in shape, all day.I have a large mustache and I’m not using much BC at all.Shaping my stache into a proper and finely sculpted Handlebar is a breeze and less messy.I work in a forge with hot sparks and high temperatures. Welding and grinding and a lot of fumes and smoke. The BC holds up 100%It was the same shape when I left the house and the same shape after 10 hours of work.In fact, it only relaxes after I soap up and leave it in for most of my shower. And to my satisfaction, my mustache seems to be healthier since I started using BC.I’ll still buy DG. But my new primary wax is definitely Bone Crusher. If you need a solid, extra strong hold wax, then Id definitely recommend it. You won’t be disappointed.

Truly a step up from other moustache waxes
Impressive stuff for a rookie handlebar moustache grower, style. Tried several brand but this is looking like my âgo toâ wax/dressing for my style. Holds my coarse thick whisker Ed. Easy to apply and I like the results!

Skin irritating and breakage
This is my 3rd tin, the very first tin I had amazing results, the hold is good, the scent is amazingly mild. Problem with tin number 2 and tin number 3 is that it’s causing skin irritation now, and the skin to break. I’d read from another review that it could be that It was expired, so I bought tin number 3. Just opened it. And not even 6 hours later I’m feeling the irritation…..

Best stache wax I’ve used
Seriously the best wax I’ve used. New cans of it have a bit of a smell but it dissipates and doesn’t smell when applied. It doesn’t require heat but works better if you do. I recommend taking a small pea sized ball (bit more or less depending on your stache size) and putting it in the top side of the tin and take a blow-dryer on high heat medium speed and heat up the ball of wax till it it’s starting to melt (if you use medium speed it shouldn’t melt it completely and only get it extremely soft, it’ll start to slide around the top of the tin some depending on your blow-dryer you can keep hitting it with heat a bit longer) take the hot ball of wax and rub between your two index fingers, it should smooth out immediately and have no chunks in it with little to no pressure, and apply it to your stache. The curl with this survived motorcycle trips, and will last for days while camping. I’ve tried many others and nothing really comes close.

I usually use prorasso and I can tell this is going to suit me much better. I have to work out in the wilderness in all manner of elements, wet, dry, hot or cold, and the prorasso just can’t keep up.Death Grip has a channel with some instructional videos on moustache care and how to apply their waxes – I highly recommend watching some of them as I did. For best results you’re going to want a hairdryer and a good comb handy.Upon opening the tin, I was greeted with a very solid wax. It’s unscented, with a pleasant aroma that reminded me of leather and haybarns. I wanted to really test how strong the hold was, so I put in a very small amount and styled my stache in the evening, then went to bed. Stuff worked great, held over night and was shaped the exact same when I woke up. I went to work and it was pretty wet/cold outside, and lots of condensation built up on my stache. Now at this point, any other wax I’ve used would have turned greasy and lost its hold, leading to a filthy looking, limp, wet dog of a stache. But the Death Grip, true to it’s name, still held with no grease or loss of shape. When I got home and went to remove the wax, I found it comes out quite easily with beard oil, hot water and a vigorous combing. That last thing I’ll say is that the key to both styling with this wax, and removing it, is PATIENCE. Don’t rush, take your time, and you should have no issue both applying and removing it.

I was running out of my previous wax (different brand), so I ordered this in readiness. My last wax only ran out last week and so I’ve only just opened and used this product for the first time this week; and….. Wow!! Suffice to say, I won’t be returning to my prior brand. This stuff is nuclear grade wax. Ideal for finer hair. Not sure you’d get it through thicker beards / moustaches as it’s so dense!First thing to know is that you have to heat the wax with a hair dryer to melt it so you can even get any out of the tin… so, not ideal for taking out with you for a top up. However, I doubt you’ll need a top up: I first applied it on a Tuesday morning: my moustache and beard set in place and, I kid you not, didn’t move until the Thursday! It hadn’t even moved after a night’s sleep for those two days.Be warned though: the wax comes out of the tin (once heated) with a texture similar to pine resin rather than a traditional wax. This makes it stiff to even get a comb through after initial application and a nightmare to get the residue off your fingers and comb afterwards. (On first time using it I ended up with residue stuck to the sink taps and soap dispenser as I desperately tried to get it off my hands!). The plus side is, once you’ve applied the wax it works amazingly well. The best wax I’ve tried. The only minus point is, the wax isn’t scented so has a straight wax odour.
