This is one of the most unique and innovative highlighters I’ve ever used! It’s so smooth and buttery to highlight with. It does not bleed at all because it isn’t wet like traditional highlighters. It says gel. I’d say that’s accurate. It’s very similar to a crayon without the grainy patchy coloring, and no weird smell. You do get some small “shavings” (which is why I said crayon) if you can call them that… they easily wipe away and don’t really create smudging. I rubbed my fingers across the area I highlighted and it did not smear even with the “shavings” there. To me this is perfect for Bible use because Bible pages are thin and most highlighters bleed completely to the other side of the page where these DO NOT do that. I HIGHLY recommend for any home, school, office, church.

Very impressive. Recently purchased a book and I wanted to highlight lines on pages. Let’s say you’re reading page 2 in my book, you can faintly see the print on page 1 not bothersome at all.I ordered these highlighter because they stated they don’t bleed through pages. Well they are correct, these highlighters are great and don’t bleed. Highly recommend

fades quickly
I like the smoothness of the gel highlighter. It does dry quickly and it does not bleed. However, passages that I highlighted just a few days ago have already faded. I find that disappointing. Also, the gel itself does not last long. I am in the process of highlighting in a new Bible (copying what I had done in my old Bible) and used two gel pens before getting halfway through. I may not purchase these again.

For the first time in my life, I’m marking up a book that I’m reading for pleasure (not school). I started highlighting the passages I was relating to but was getting frustrated that the highlighter was bleeding through the pages. I jumped on Amazon and the Mr. Pen Sleek gel highlighters were the first item I saw. These gel highlighters have been a real game changer and haven’t bled through the pages at all. It’s also pretty cool that you can twist the white part to extend the gel. I will definitely be recommending these highlighters and will definitely be ordering more when I run out.

I’ve used Sharpie Gel highlighters for many years. These ones are way smoother. No clumping like he Sharpies. HOwever…. I’ve had to throw away 2 (of a total of 4 tried) that were barely used because the product wouldn’t push up when the end was twisted.
