Good Old Dad needs this more than ever
There is nothing quite like a foot-massage from my wife. But as we approach our 37th year together, the paw rubs are fewer and farther between. I’ve tried more expensive massagers from CARESKYpro and Inconly but I prefer this less expensive one from MOUNTRAX. The Inconly is so aggressive that it’s hard to stay relaxed while using it. And the CARESKYpro tries to be too versatile which makes it awkward and ends up not doing much well at all. The MOUNTRAX is easy to use and gives a great foot massage that is at least a little adjustable. The heat is nice but I would not mind if it had a higher level. There’s only on and off for the heat. The timer can be set for either 15 or 30 minutes. There’s a low and high for the “kneading.” This really only seems to change the speed, not the intensity, that the rollers on the bottom of your feet run. Intensity is adjusted with the “air compression” button. There is an air bladder that wraps around the ankles and another that’s on the top of the foot. These bladders fill and deflate at different time intervals. The air compression has three different pressure levels that push your foot down into the rollers.The unit is not constructed of hard plastic like I assumed that it would be. Rather, it is made of a flexible, lightweight material kinda like some modern luggage. This makes it light enough that you can pick up your feet and move them closer or farther away and still tough enough to be durable. There are rubber suction cups on the bottom that help to keep the massager from sliding. It also has foot liners that zip and velcro in and out for cleaning.This massager is not rechargeable which means that it has to be plugged in to use it. It operates off a 12 volt DC transformer that can be unplugged from the unit itself and can be powered by 110 or 220 AC volts. That’s nice if I happen to decide to give this to my son in the Philippines. But he’s got a young wife so he probably doesn’t need it as much as his foot-massage starved dad ð.

Very nice and comfortable. It has great heat, massage is great too, and it even has suction cups if you are on a hard floor so it doesn’t move away. One wish was a remote to control heat and other functions!

Excellent personal automatic foot massager
This massager feels so good on my feet, and it has wonderful functionality that makes it is so easy and intuitive to use right out of the box. When you put your feet in and touch the power button, the default settings run a 15 minute massage program of heat on, low kneading speed, and low compression. You can change the settings easily on the touch panel. Heat is either on or off, kneading is slow or fast, and compression has three levels of intensity. Increasing the compression makes the kneading feel more intense. The default program is just about perfect for me except sometimes it goes by too quickly, so if I have enough time I just repeat it and get 30 minutes. The massage helps the circulation in my feet, and I can feel the kneading gently yet persistently pressing into the balls of my feet, and the level of heat is very comforting. The enclosed design with compression is especially relaxing because it holds onto your feet and lets you sit back and relax, as opposed to open design massagers where you have to sit a certain way and make an effort to keep your feet in position.The quality and durability of the materials is very good. The housing is lightweight but sturdy, non-brittle and able to be wiped clean, and the foot holes have removable washable fabric liners that are zippered in. I wear thin socks for the massage anyway just to keep the cleaning to a minimum, but itâs optional.I am so glad to have this massager and I use it daily, itâs one of my favorite self care treats and itâs well worth buying..

Relaxing Foot Massage On Demand
This foot massager provides a nice, relaxing massage at the touch of a button. Itâs very convenient and so nice to use while relaxing at the end of the day. It has a timer that can be set for 15 or 30 minutes. The settings include heat, kneading and compression. The heat was underwhelming. After 15 minutes it was barely warm. The compression is a light air compression. There are three compression settings, with not much variance. The kneading is where itâs at. There are two kneading settings. Both are very comfortable, even for my sensitive feet. The kneading setting provides a typical foot massage feeling, and the machine never tires or gets a cramp, so you can enjoy an extended massage, if desired. I would say this massager is a good value if itâs something youâll use. I leave it in the corner of the family room , by the sofa, and so far itâs getting daily use.

The MOUNTRAX Shiatsu Foot Massager with Heat is great after a long day on your feet or if you just want a foot massage without leaving the house!Nothing to set up, just plug it in and power it on. A variety of settings: Heat or no heat, 15 or 30 minutes, kneeding and air compression can be adjusted from low to high, or not at all. I wasn’t overly impressed with the heat after the first use, I was expecting more heat. However, when my session is over, I can feel the warmth on my feet or socks! So, it’s functioning as it’s supposed to. It was too much for my elderly parent. We’ll work with the settings to see if I can find one that works best for them.The massage is relaxing and welcome! I like the convenience and portability of the massager. It is lightweight, easy to wipe off, and store for the next use. The price point is a good value for what you’re getting, especially if you catch a deal!
