Highly recommended! Not a single stretch mark 🙂
Whenever any of my friends find out they (or their wife/girlfriend) are expecting a baby, this is the FIRST thing I recommend. My sister first used this in her pregnancy. She found it in some health-food store I think, and liked it because it is JUST oils, no chemicals or preservatives. After I saw how AMAZING she looked after having a baby, I knew I would use the same thing when I got pregnant (which was about a year later). I didn’t get not even one stretch mark, and my skin was sooo soft. I was back in a bikini in 2 weeks (although I also credit breastfeeding, a very hungry baby, and my youth–I was 21– for the quick weight loss, but this FOR SURE deserves credit for my skin!). Our mother got stretch marks with her pregnancies, so I think she was a little jealous that my sister and I didn’t, and wished they had this oil when she was pregnant!I went through about 1 1/2 bottles during my pregnancy. At first, I put it on once a day after my shower, and then twice a day or more once I got bigger. I’d recommend putting it on and waiting a few minutes before getting dressed so the oil can sink in. You can also use it after the baby is born, which I did only for a short time. For some reason, when I was about seven months along, I decided to try some Palmers Belly Butter. The next day, my stomach starting itching and broke out in this rash. I immediately switched back to the Mother’s Special Blend.I’ve recommended this to EVERY pregnant person I know. All of my friends (I can think of about 6, early to mid-twenties women) have used it with great results, and no stretch marks or stretched out skin! One friend I recommended it to said she used it for only a little while and then stopped, and she has stretch marks and the typical stretched out belly-skin.My only complaint is that the bottle has a tendency to get oily on the outside no matter how carefully you use it.If you are thinking of buying this, I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend it! If I could only buy ONE thing for myself during a pregnancy, this would be IT! You will not be disappointed!

Really moisturizing
This stuff is super moisturizing. Stretch marks are genetic, so in my case they couldnât be entirely prevented but I really feel like this helped. Iâm 6 weeks postpartum and using this to heal and my stretch marks are fading very quickly. I also have been using it on my cracked heels and my feet have never been softer!I will say that when I was pregnant I was using this and the smell was unbearable – like chocolate mixed with rotting plastic. I had to switch between this and another brand some days. My husband didnât understand and now that Iâm not pregnant anymore, I get his confusion. There really isnât a scent at all. Pregnancy hormones are wild. But buyer beware that it may not smell great if you donât like cocoa butter and have heightened senses.

Amazing!
I used this for my last pregnancy and am currently pregnant so I had to buy another. Itâs great for that itchy stomach and stretching to help prevent stretch marks! I love the ingredients in it!

not entirely as described
I got this product as a gift when pregnant with my second child, and I loved the smell and the richness of the oil. So when I ran out with my third baby, I knew I wanted to order it again. I had planned to use it through my postpartum recovery months as well. What I received is not the same as what I originally had. The packaging/image on the front of the bottle is new– not a problem by any means, however, the ingredients are also not the same! The newer version does not contain pecan oil as it states in the description here. It only has almond oil, coconut oil, cocoa butter, and vitamin E. I assume the smell (which was my greatest draw to this item) is probably going to be affected so I haven’t opened it yet since I am unsure if I want to keep it without the pecan oil. I am disappointed and thought I should warn others the product is not exactly as it used to be, and it does not actually contain the ingredients listed in the description here on amazon.UPDATE:I kept the oil, and can say that it did not smell all that different than it did previously. It still has a very rich feel to it. I used it through six months postpartum. My third baby is now 8mo and I still use it after shaving on my legs as it has been a rough, dry winter. It is still a great product even with the changes. Though I am still disappointed they switched from 8.5oz to just 8oz and took out the pecan oil, I would buy it again. I uploaded a photo for those who are interested in a visual.

Who Knew I Needed Oil
First of all, I am NOT pregnant. I just wanted a good skin oil.I have normal skin, not super dry, but not oily like when I was a kid. I live at 7,000 feet elevation in the desert and am out in the (constant) sun and wind every day.I use this ALL OVER MY ENTIRE SELF. I mix it with my body lotion to create this amazing concoction that makes my skin so happy.Recently I started mixing it with my vitamin E face cream and holy moly it’s amazing. I had no idea I should have been using oil on my face this whole time! I see the difference! The texture of my skin is smoother and bouncier, brighter, more even, and my pores are less prone to blackheads. It absorbs into my skin beautifully! Even if I use it straight I do not get an oily layer on top of my skin. The scent is very subtle and only smells like the oils because they do NOT add fragrance. (THANK YOU)The dispenser can get a little messy and I don’t recommend traveling with this bottle.

Such a beautiful, all natural oil that looks almost pearlescent. It applies gorgeously to my pregnant belly and has the faintest, natural smell of cacao. Delicious all round – hoping it helps my skin stay supple!

Love the smell and easy to apply. More than anything it is a great product to use as bonding time with your bump.

The bottle came with a broken lid but in their credit they sent me a new one fairly quickly. There are only 4 simple natural ingredients so that is why I rate this product highly. Iâm 35 weeks with no stretch marks so so far so good.
