MIZON Hyaluronic 100 Korean Ampoule For Deep Hydration Dry Skin Firming Skin (1.01 fl oz)

How does something this inexpensive work this freaking well?!
For those who can’t see which of the products I am using, I have the Hyaluronic Acid Ampoule.I’ve had dry skin all my life, but it started getting slowly worse in my 20s. Drug store products, natural products, everything I was trying was barely working to maintain my skin so that it didn’t get worse. I entered my 30s and fell pregnant and for me, the old wife’s tale that “girls steal your beauty” was very true. My skin was so shaken by the pregnancy hormones that I didn’t do anything other than jojoba oil and Simple brand cream the whole time. Just thinking about makeup broke my skin out. Since having my daughter a year ago, I’ve been struggling to repair my skin and work on getting it healthy and more hydrated.I’ve tried so many products and nothing was working. Even the “fool proof” serum+cream duo the JCPenny girl recommended. I had been reading about the Korean Skincare regimen and decided I would dive into that. It’s not cheap to start up, so I am just buying a few products at a time, targeting my needs by level of importance. This was one of my top priorities after the obligatory cleansers & sunscreen. I am LOVING it!Going into this, I had dry skin, so dry in fact that even in a humid summer my normally oily T zone hasn’t been oily once. My skin very literally feels like construction paper. It’s such a rough texture. It looks dull and lifeless. Add that to the dark circles caused by no sleep from teething and I look like I’m about 45 years old instead of 32. I started using the Hyaluronic Acid Ampoule and right away my skin looked and felt amazing. I saw progress within one use.I’ve been using this twice a day for a week now and I love the results. My skin already looks quite a bit more hydrated and is slowly starting to feel more hydrated as well. The glow is returning. I tried only using it once a day twice this past week and still saw the results I was looking for. Once I have a more hydrating cream and lotion I think that I can drop to using it once a day with no issues, in the meantime I will keep up with twice a day.This really goes a long way and absorbs into my skin very quickly. It feels a bit tacky until it’s sunk in, but it only takes 10-15 seconds to absorb unless my skin is still damp from the toner. It’s also making my other products go farther. It leaves a small film on your skin. You don’t feel it really, but you can tell it’s there. It almost feels like you used a mattifying primer. It seems to allow my emulsion and lotion/cream spread across my skin easier. I’m not needing to use as much product and it feels like it’s working better on my skin without weighing it down too much.While I do feel that I am using a bit more of this than I was my expensive Western hydrating serum, this is also a quarter of the price and works significantly better. Even at the rate I am using this, I will still end up spending half of what I would’ve been with that other serum. I very highly recommend this to anyone who needs some added moisture in their routine, no matter if it needs to be a permanent fixture or a seasonal thing.

I’ve been using this for about a year. It’s a good price and I use it on my chest and neck daily. I think it’s been working well, it seems hydrated and looks good.

Great for dry, sensitive skin. A little goes a LONG way.
I absolutely love this. This is the first and only ampuole I’ve ever used, and after a few months of semi-regular use, I can definitely tell the difference! My skin is so much smoother and feels “bouncier” and more resilient, not to mention even my super sensitive skin hasn’t had a reaction to this product. My skin also holds moisture better, which is great as I’ve struggled with dry skin for years. I use four drops for my entire face and pat it in, then let it absorb. It will feel sticky at first after applying, but once your skin fully absorbs the ampuole it immediately feels so much smoother and look great. Would definitely recommend if you’re hesitant about adding this step to your skin care routine.

Ok moisturizing serum
Overall, it’s a decent hyaluronic acid serum. Not bad, but not great (at least to my skin) either.Packaging: very cute, lovely blue glass bottle. However, the dropper is too short to swivel around with the plastic piece at the bottle neck. It was stuck some times that I thought I’d dropped the bottle!Texture: very runny, dry quickly, but before it’s dry, it formed a glue layer ready to pull in any moisture from the next layer. That’s weirdest thing I’ve experienced. But after it completely dries, it’s not sticky anymore.Scent: none, which I feel very comfortable about.Performance: meh, no improvement in anything, but it doesn’t break me out either.That small bottle lasted me exactly a month using it twice a day. It didn’t make any impact on my skin, but it’s worth a try for anyone who needs an extra moisturizing layer.
