The price point is quite reasonable compared to some alternatives on the market, so I gave it a try.It’s too early to comment definitively on effectiveness – these treatments typically need several months of consistent use to show results. However, I can speak to the application process. The instructions suggest dispensing the foam onto a cold surface before applying, which seems unnecessarily complicated. I’ve found that simply running my hands under cold water before application works well to maintain the foam’s consistency. Without cold hands, it tends to break down too quickly.One noticeable effect is that it does impact my hair styling somewhat. The treated areas become a bit more uncooperative, with hair standing slightly more unruly than usual. This could be my imagination, but it’s something I’ve observed consistently since starting treatment.Overall, while I can’t yet speak to its effectiveness, the application process is straightforward once you figure out the cold hands trick. The price makes it worth trying if you’re looking to address specific areas of thinning hair. Just be prepared for some potential styling challenges.

The company that makes it is Celtrum and the details of the company are provided which should improve the confidence on the product quality.As a Minoxidil user, I have a general idea about the ‘smell’ of Minoxidil. As this treatment is a bit of a hit or miss, you should know whether it works or not for you before trying this version. If you have prior experience, and it works for you, you can happily give this a go. Now, this brand and the four foam cans inside appears to be well made. The price is not exactly much cheaper considering it is made in China. So on balance, I will give it four stars.

First Time Using Foam, not a Fan
I use minoxidil most nights before bed, but have never used a foam until now. While I don’t doubt the strength of the 5% minoxidil, my review touches mainly on my dissatisfaction with it being a foam as opposed to a liquid.I’ve been using it for a week now and tried the various recommended ways to apply it. First, I tried putting a blob in my hand, then rubbing it in my hair, but by the time it got to my scalp, I felt it kind of disappeared into thin air before getting to the place it needed to be.Then I tried pumping it out directly to the crown of my head and the front hairline (two places I always use the liquid), but I had no idea how much was needed for it to be effective. I felt I was wasting way too much product, and since foam is way more expensive than liquid, I feel I’m just getting ripped off.While this product’s pricing is better than other more recognized brands, consider you pay $40 for four cans. If you use exactly 30g per application twice a day as recommended, theoretically you’d get a full month’s supply. But there is absolutely no way to know how much you’re dispensing per application. I felt I was using half a can on one application. Compared with liquids that are measured precisely with a dropper, this lack of control is a deal-breaker for me.That said, I do feel that the foam is less greasy than the liquid. I only use minoxidil at night, so the liquid is not a problem for me, but if you’re using it also during the day, the foam might actually be better. However, even if you do use it twice a day, I’d recommend using the foam for daytime and getting the liquid for nights to get more bang for the buck.Overall, after trying the foam for a while, it’s not for me. Think I’ll stick with the liquid.

This seems to be authentic and a good product.The instruction, attached, said to not use if you don’t know why you are losing your hair. Funny because I don’t think there is a definitive scientifically accurate known cause of balding – only that DHT might cause it or some other issues like stress and hormone changes.I don’t like that the product has alcohol in it and they want users to apply it twice a day without clear guidance on when hair washing can occur or if use of other products such as hair gel, spray, mouse, etc. could impact the overall use.I can’t submit much of a review because the item was literally delivered today but I might update this review in 3-6 months.
