[Updated review after resolution] Decent product but Miko lacking in customer service
6/12/2023 Updated review:David, who manages the customer service team and is a co-owner at Miko, reached out to me today by phone call to offer resolution to my issue. He presented a couple of options – a) send a new unit or b) provide a full refund. I chose option B since the massager functions still work – I just need to be extra careful when maneuvering the handle or moving the machine around. Initially, he only offered to refund the cost of the product and not tax since that was the max their system could offer, but he was able to chat with Amazon customer service to get the tax refunded to me as well. After our discussion, I received a full refund in Amazon credit within 2 hours.Additionally, he shared that the lack of response from the customer service team was likely due to the service ticket being closed so their system did not notify them of any subsequent messages I sent inquiring about a response, reassuring me that their intent is not to ignore customers’ issues. Not sure why the ticket was closed since my issue was not resolved, but this explanation made sense to me and it may have been an accident. He also confirmed they have been low in stock on the replacement inserts, but to wait a few more weeks to receive them.I appreciate that he was willing to do whatever it took to make sure I was satisfied after learning about my frustrating experience. For this reason, I am upping my review to 5 stars (4.5 stars, but rounded up, since the product still had a mechanical/longevity issue early in its life).—6/4/2023 Original review:TLDR: The Miko foot Massager is a pretty good product, providing much needed relief after a long day on your feet. However Miko’s customer service does not respond about issues.Pros:- Shiatsu rollers are strong, especially in combo with the air pressure mode which helps to hold your feet in place so the rollers can get in there deeper.- Heat function is nice.- Rotating bar makes massager suitable for feet, calves, and maybe even forearms.- Foot inserts are washable.Cons:- Customer service is not responsive.- Vibration mode is gimmicky. It doesn’t provide anything extra other than being noisy. I always turn this mode off when using the massager.- The remote has all the same controls as the machine, but it isn’t super useful since you have to point it directly at the massager without interference inbetween to work. You may as well use the machine’s controls at that point.Overall I like the massager, but Miko’s customer service is severely lacking and they do not honor their 1 year warranty. I registered the massager online to activate the warranty and inquire about a mechanical issue about 9 months after purchase. After registering, they offered a free set of replacement inserts which I thought was nice. However, I never received the gift or a follow up from them after providing my shipping information.I also opened a separate service ticket regarding the mechanical issue, where I reported that the rotating bar came loose from the connection point on one side. While this doesn’t make the massager unusable, I have to be very careful when rotating the bar or it will completely detach from the machine and I cannot use the handle to carry/transport the machine at all. They asked me to send a video, which I promptly did along with the attached photos. Since that initial correspondence over 2 months ago, I haven’t received a response from them and I tried following up several times. They have either completely ghosted me or are waiting for my 1 year warranty period to end next month so they can say it’s out of warranty. Due to Miko’s poor customer service practices, I would not recommend them or purchase from them in the future.

The mother of all foot massagers!!!
My daughter bought herself a different brand and had me try it when I was visiting. I loved it, but my feet were a little big for hers (size 14 men). So, I was determined to find one for “Bigfoot”. After searching various machines and brands this is the only one I felt confident would suit my size needs. I ordered it and it arrived as promised on time. It was easy to set up and use right out of the box. Ahhhhhhhh…. it is far superior to my daughters. It is powerful and very adjustable. It came with 2 remotes and when you register the product they send you a backup foot liner for the machine. I am very pleased with the maching and service from the company. Having the open ended machine does not diminish the massage as you might imagine, it enhances its use, as you can tilt it and place your calf and ankles in it. Who knew these were so great to have????? Very pleased.

Works really well! The massage is great, noise level is acceptable, and.seems durable. ðHowever, it is on the heavier side and the cord provided isn’t as long as preferred. On top of that, the controllers do not work at all (even when the battery has been replaced). Really disappointed about that. ð

Strong, deep massage action.
This machine really applies great pressure and rolling massage action. I started on level 1 as recommended and bumped up to level 4 which was just at the edge of too much pressure for me. There are 6 levels. The icons printed on the machine arenât intuitive. I had to consult the guide and still have to think a minute to adjust the settings. But it is sooo worth it. My feet and calves feel great and re- energized after a 20 minute session. The unit is very heavy so may not be easy to move around for some people even with the handle. The noise level is low, easy to talk over it. Yes, itâs very expensive but I used my HSA fund and treated myself to health and happiness.

I should note that the first time I ordered this product, the product’s arm (on the massager) was “stuck” and I called the company and shipped the item back. They were courteous, helpful, and I received a new massager back without issue. Months later and it still runs effectively.I can honestly say that I very much appreciate using the massager frequently. The varied offerings of massage (levels of intensity as well) are a nice feature, as well as the ability to use on your feet and calves. It took a little while to get used to the higher levels of intensity (had me laughing when I first tried the product). Ease of use and quality build are highlights. My feet fit in comfortably (I wear a mens 11).

Id like to review/comment regarding my Miko 2 Shiatsu Foot Massager.I suffer from spinal nerve damage with a degree of paralysis in my right leg and foot from the knee down and some numbness in my left leg.This was caused by an accident 14 months agoThough I routinely work out these areas hoping to improve mobility thereâs always numbness thatâs muscle deep in places causing discomfort and difficulty in walking due to lack of nerve stimulation.The Miko 2 is a powerful muscle and nerve stimulator that can be quite intense but very effective. Areas Iâve had little or no feeling, suddenly became very alive with a pins and needles type feeling meaning hope returned. Itâs early days, but Iâm impressed with the results so far

Es hat sicherlich seine Stärke bei der FuÃmassage, knetet aber auch die Wade gut durch, wenn man eine gute Position gefunden hat. Meine Wade hat einen Umfang von 50 cm – das erscheint mir aber auch bereits die Oberkannte dessen, für was das Gerät geeignet ist. Der Preis erscheint mir günstig, ich bin hoch zufrieden.
