I tried this in Natural Ivory and it turned out darker than expected as well as pulling very warm. Iâm a redhead with fair skin and very cool toned. That being said itâs a pretty good product. Need to see if I can find a good shard match.

Best Color Stay Make-up Ever
I purchased Maybelline Color Stay foundation, concealer and the pressed powder, which I recently received.I am a big fan of Maybelline Make-up for years now!! The coverage is absolutely beautiful.I have hyperpigmentation on my face and I needed a make-up that would cover it flawlessly and I found it!!Iâm very pleased and impressed by how lightweight, how well it matches my skin tone, as a woman of color and how well it stays on my face without rubbing off on my clothes or hands!!On negative that I experienced was while cleaning I started to sweat and I noticed that it does rub off on your hands and/or a tissue, which is not a deal breaker for me though. I just patted me face and touched it up and it was back looking flawless!!I would recommend the whole line of the Maybelline Color Stay Make-up, even their lip sticks, they stay on for hours with flaking. On a side note, moisturize your lips before applying then wipe offâ¦.just a tip I learned!!We all deserve to be beautiful and looking & feeling our best!!

Buildable coverage with flawless finish
I donât think anyone likes the look of caked on make up or uneven coverage. And as someone with very pale colored skin, finding a shade of makeup light enough that doesnât oxidize into a darker or pinker color has ALWAYS been a problem for me. Also, with combination skin, I use powders to limit the shine, but would then find my make up creasing in corners. Not with this powder.This compact offers a light to medium coverage when used alone on clean skin. And then it can be gently patted and pressed onto areas that need more coverage. The result is light and breathable with a poreless matte finish. It seems to melt into the skin rather than settling into fine lines and creases. And my face still feels touchable soft. Also, the color so far has been true, with no oxidation through the day. One of my new favorite pressed powders for a clean and casual makeup routine.

Great for mature skin
I am in my late 50s, and starting to notice fine lines, and have been trying to find a foundation that does not settle into thrm.Iâve tried many foundations in the last year- including all the âage rewindâ and âage perfectâ ones.Really, every drugstore brand that has anything about age on its packaging.I found an almost empty compact of this in a bin of old makeup that I hadnât used in years.I didnât remember using it in the past.The old makeup in the compact looked and smelled fine, so I used it.It was what I had been looking for.I apply sunscreen, then apply the makeup to my face, use it as under eye concealer, and apply to my neck and upper chest area.I use a large, velour powder puff.It does not settle into lines, and makes my skin look like porcelain.I belong to an online âbeauty and makeup over 50â group.I got a ton of compliments when I posted my pic on the forum wearing this makeup, and recommended it on the site.I bought a new compact right away.Not only is it great for aging skin, the price is great, too!I hope they donât discontinue it!Iâve gotten rid of all my bottles of liquid foundation.

Great product, awful packaging
Hey Maybelline, you used to make this powder in a rectangular compact that was easy to open and had a mirror and convenient place for the puff. I love this product but despise the new container design. Cannot open without using a fingernail. Have to flip up bottom to get puff. Have to flip down middle section to rub puff across powder, then have to flip the middle back up to see the mirror. Who designed this? The old style compact has worked well for probably over 100 years, I do not get why you thought this was good product design. I will still buy this, but I curse it and Maybelline EVERY time I use it.
