Cardboard applicator and organic cotton!
These tampons have been my go-to for years now – I love the discrete packaging, the box is also minimal regarding ink/eco waste.I grew up with cardboard applicators and have a habit of throwing them in the toilet when applied as one quick motion – believe me when I say I HATE the plastic applicators for the predicament this has put me in when I have defaulted to habit while using plastic ð¤¦ð¼ââï¸ðThe light, regular, and super sizes all absorb well and perform better than Tampax.Likely chemicals, but compared to these, Tampax cotton seems âslick,â which inhibits full absorption. The more natural cotton feel of these tampons isnât less comfortable and they absorb better, I think due to the natural fabrication.I will use these tampons forever. Thanks, Lola!

yay for cardboard !!
It’s a shame that people are leaving bad reviews for this product because of the cardboard applicators. That’s exactly why I bought it. It’s impossible to find cardboard applicators in the store – not the grocery store, not the drug store, not Target. Everything is plastic now and tampons don’t need to have plastic applicators. Cardboard is perfectly fine. Don’t listen to the people here complaining about it.

The cardboard applicator is definitely not an easy push. I literally push the tampon out just a little before inserting to make it a little easier. Otherwise they do the job intended

Hate them
I am giving them 5 stars because I like the brand and it’s use of no fragrance, organic cotton, etc. I hate them because I didn’t do my research, heck, I must’ve not even looked at the picture because these are cardboard applicators and the cotton tampon itself is very long. I hate cardboard applicators, now I’m stuck with them because I opened them. Plus, the fact that they are not compact takes away the portability and discretion of having a tampon. I can’t stash them away in the glove box or in other emergency places that I like to keep them. I wondered why the double pack was so cheap, now I know ðAgain, that is no fault if the company or the product, that is my oversight for not reading it or even looking at the pictures. I’m just so irritated with myself for doing that. Still a good product.

Would prefer different applicator
It is good to have organic cotton tampons, with all the concern of what we are putting in our bodies with so many possible chemicals in tampons. Having these as an option is great, but I just do not like the cardboard applicator. It makes it so much harder to use. If the applicator were different I would be more inclined to purchase them.

Comfortable Tampon
This is one of the most comfortable tampons I have found. It absorbs a decent amount and has reduced my cramping a bit compared to other tampons. This is my go to now.

This cardboard version is no good.
The applicator doesn’t work well. Sometimes the cotton gets stuck in the applicator. It doesn’t expand well. The plastic applicator is the way to go.
