Smells GREAT.
Iâm new to having a beard and I found myself watching the live bearded videos. I figured I owed them some patronage and my beard was unrulyâ¦so I bough the oil and the balm. First – they smell sensational. They got the scent and strength perfect. Not too strong. Second – they work. Beard is softer. Skin conditioned. I notice when I travel and donât have themâ¦sucks. I miss them when I donât have the products.

After receiving and using the sample pack of Live Bearded products, I decided I preferred the scent of the Tombstone. I purchased the beard butter and oil. The scent and viscosity of the products last me all day and I have a very dry, 50+ year old manâs beard. Very good product that does what it says it will do.

I have tried several beard oils and balms over the years. I can say that this brand is one of my favorites. The smell is awesome and the balm is a bit heavy which I need for my beard. It lasts all day and doesnât need reapplying. It keeps me looking fresh and sharp all day long

Live Bearded is a very well respected brand in the fast growing beard game, their products are all very high quality.The oil is a medium viscosity, pretty basic oil, nothing gimmicky, just Argan Oil, Jojoba Oil, Grape Seed Oil and Vitamin E which are all well proven to provide benefits for your skin and hair, many beard oils out there will contain one or more of these oils. also, love the bottle, no dropper to deal with.The butter is on the heavier side, also pretty basic but a moisturizing powerhouse. It’s a little bit sticky and oily, it does provide some hold and body but does not have any wax, so that should give you an idea how heavy it is. If I use it during the day, I have to go very light or your beard will be fairly sticky and shiny….so perhaps better suited for nighttime use.Overall nice, solid products, they would not be the only butter or only oil I would use but definitely will be part of my rotation of products.

Live Bearded offers a sample pack on their website of all their butters and oils. I got that first to give their stuff a try. I’ve always had a short beard and only recently decided to try growing it out longer. After a couple of months, you learn that something is needed to help keep it soft and somewhat groomed. Otherwise, a long beard gets dry, scratchy, and sometimes looking unkept and crazy. I have some hairs that grow straight out of my face, some that curl, and some that grow following the contours of my bone structure. So without a product I end up with hairs going every which way. The oil helps keep it soft and I only use it a few times a week. The butter helps with styling so I can get most of the hairs going in the same direction and not look like a total caveman.
