Fantastic product!
This product has worked wonders for me!I bought this back in March, and wanted to use it before I wrote a review. I epilate, and am very prone to ingrown hairs. This serum stops them dead in their tracks, so to speak. I use it straight after epilating, and for a couple of days after instead of lotion. I have not had an ingrown hair since!I love the gel-like texture, and subtle aloe scent, which evaporates almost immediately. It feels wonderfully refreshing after epilation, and removes epilation bumps almost instantly.To me, itâs worth every cent and lasts a long time, since I only use it every 3 or 4 weeks.It is versatile in its uses – prevents nasty ingrowns, refreshes skin, removes bumps, and for me, has also âhealedâ previous marks left by stubborn ingrowns that I tried to remove.

We have given this product an honest attempt. My husband is African American, so you know the curly hair type that has lots of bumps when he shaves. Using this product does help alleviate the bumps, to an extent. There was a product he used for a long time, but the company went out of business to retire. I guess comparing something to a product you favor, it will never be the same.We will continue to use it because we haven’t found another product that works better.It does remove bumps but not as quickly as one would like or expect. Will update with another month of use. Overall, we would purchase again but it would be nice to see bumps dry up faster.

I dont normally right reviews. I have had what feels like outbreaks of ingrown hairs on my chest and back. I had tried other products but this one flat out works. I hear they made the product smaller – who cares – this thing is worth 3x the cost because it works.

sneaky size reduction, same price.
Love this stuff so I gotta rate it high but they recently reduced the size from 6oz to 5oz without updating the description. Price has remained the same. I get inflation, cost of raw materials, blah blah blah. This is still deceptive. Anyway, it works. I buy it and I buy it often. It has reduced my after-shaving ingrown hair problem by about 95%. But c’mon, LAVO, be honest when you change a product’s quantity, and especially so if the price stays the same. At one point they also stopped giving you the pump on the bottle, and the box it was packaged in. Now it’s just shrink wrapped.EDIT: July 2023 – NOW IT’S ONLY 4oz!!!! and price remains the same – you gotta be kidding me, LAVO! Cost of materials has not gone up that much, you’re just taking advantage. Another reviewer mentions this bottle used to be 8oz. Removing 2 stars for value.

PERFECT to clear out bumps and ingrowns
LAVO Tea Tree Gel has become my go-to spot treatment. The combination of tea tree oil and salicylic acid effectively reduces redness and inflammation from blemishes. This product helps so much to keep ingrowns and irritation at bay. Use it twice a day .. 3 times on your day off lol. Itâs soothing and smells really nice. Gentle enough for the face for all the PCOS girlies. I have thick hair that grows FAST I canât afford laser hair removal right now so waxing and shaving is my go to and immediately after I apply this serum. This is my second bottle and I only have had 1 ingrown hair in 3 months. . Usually I would have many more. I say itâs worth the money.

As someone who shaves a lot and gets a lot of in-grown hairs, I can say that this product works but not in the way it’s advertised. It’s excellent at preventing in-growns if used after shaving but not very good on one’s you actually have. Which is a bit misleading but it’s still a good product. I would recommend it.

The product is good (though little sticky) but its good product to be used for in-grown hair issue.Although it did not address my in-grown hair issue much, may be because my issue has turned into a condition now and it has spread on bigger scale on my body.But I guess this product will be helpful if you start using it as soon as you feel that you are getting in-grown hair issue.The delivery took time, but it was well within the promised time-frame.Thanks.
