Amazing Texture and Smell â My New Favorite!
I am absolutely in love with the Kenra Platinum Texturizing Taffy 13! The texture of this styling fiber crème is perfect â itâs lightweight, non-greasy, and provides just the right amount of hold without feeling stiff or crunchy. Multi-functional and high quality
I have fine-ish wavy hair that doesn’t have a lot of natural volume. I currently have a pixie cut, and this product is perfect for my needs. Here’s why:1. I avoid products that are stiff or sticky, or that weigh my hair down. This stuff is very light and allows my hair to look and feel like there is no product in it.2. I don’t like to waste money or bathroom real estate on lots of products. This container is compact (and really pretty!) and I can use this 1 product 3 different ways: on half-dry roots for hold and volume while I finish blowing it dry; on the ends of dry hair to add texture on top and make it “piecey”; on the sides to slick it down and provide hold.3. I tried a gel recently that I could NOT wash off my hands. It was like industrial-strength glue. And I tried a pomade that had an application sweet spot that was hard to find – not enough was ineffective but barely too much created a clumpy, greasy mess. Who needs that kind of drama? This Taffy is really fun to use. I just dab one finger in (I use about half of a pea-sized amount), then rub it all over my hands to spread it out, then apply where needed. Couldn’t be easier.4. If the product retains its consistency and texture, one container should last a long time because only a tiny amount is needed each day. This would actually make it a better value than drug store products that cost less on the front end but get used up quickly. Or thrown out because they suck.5. The candy scent and the taffy consistency make me smile. I certainly don’t expect a hair product to improve my mood, but this one does, and that’s priceless!

The product is excellent. Just enough to hold your hair in place without looks stiff.As for delivery, not so good. The package was left on our porch right by the step. With porch pirates on the loose, wouldnât you think putting any delivery up by the front door would lower the odds of someone stealing it.Educate your drivers Amazon. Do better!

A Little Goes a Long Way
The taffy is scented nicely – not too overwhelming. It’s pretty sticky coming out of the container, but it seems to hold well. Just be careful to use a tiny amount at a time, or your hair will feel dirty & “heavy.”

Fine, wavy, curly hair
This is a product Iâve used in the past, but now with a new name. So glad I found it and made the purchase to try it. I have medium length fine hair, not as full a head of hair as when I was younger. If cut right and help with the right styling product, my hair will dry with my natural curl. No other styling product works this well, no foams, liquid gel, hair spray, balms. Itâs a loose curl, mixed with some frizziness. It also added volume. Itâs a nice change from blow drying my hair straight. Tried it on my hair dry, for my curls, it didnât work. Next time I blow dry my hair I am going to add the product to help control the frizz. Humid weather is not a friend to my hair.

The best of the best to tame short hair!!!
I bought this product for several reasons; Iâve used KENRA products for decades and have tried other brands, but nothing matches up to its quality. I recently went from shoulder length hair to an almost pixie, and love the short hair. Iâve been using a hair âbalmâ for several months, and my hair just doesnât stay in place. This âtaffyâ, by KENRA is by far the best thing to tame my hair. Once I put it on, my hair stays in place. The smell is wonderful too. The product is gooey enough to keep your hair in place and is water soluble at the same time. Very pleased with the results after use and the packaging and container are of excellent quality. Great value for the price! Will buy again.

I donât like it
This texturizing taffy is super soft and smells wonderful; like candy! I love the way it smells and the purple color. The color doesnât show in your hair either, itâs just lavender purple in the jar. The jar is silver and very sleek. However, the smell and packaging are not my reasons for purchasing this item. I wanted a hair product that would help shape my edgy haircut and finish off the look of my pixie/bob. Iâm just not liking it. Iâve used this by putting a small amount on my fingers and rubbing it into my hand a little and then pulling it through the pieces of hair to make it shape and separate in certain areas. This just leaves my hair looking a little greasy and it doesnât really hold it in place. I donât know why it has so many good reviews. Iâm not a fan of it. Iâve been going back to it and trying to use less. Then more. Then on my roots. None of my attempts make me like this product and I wish I did like it because it smells so good. Alas, Iâve finally given up and decided Iâm going to return it.
