No mess, almost
Most bird food blends have black sunflower seeds which birds love, but leave debris shells. Also red mullet, bird don’t like it so much and avoid. So when I saw this product shell-less seeds and no red mullet, yay. Now after inspecting my birdfeeders after using this product, I discovered i have left over cracked corn and tiny white millet husks, so almost mess free. My finches and sparrows are not loving corn so they leave it. Other that that, this probably the best food with least amount of undesirable filler seeds and waste. I will but again. They love the hushed sunflower seeds.

Perfect No-Mess Bird Seed for Backyard Birds
The Kaytee Wild Bird Ultimate No Mess Seed is truly a game-changer for attracting birds like cardinals, finches, chickadees, and nuthatches. Iâve been using it in my backyard, and itâs incredible how clean and hassle-free it isâno shells or waste left behind. The birds seem to love it, and Iâve noticed an increase in activity at my feeders. The blend is high-quality and clearly tailored to keep birds happy and coming back for more. The packaging was great, keeping the seed fresh, and it arrived on time. I highly recommend this for bird enthusiasts who want a mess-free solution while enjoying the beauty of backyard wildlife!

No mess under the feeders
I would highly recommend this wild bird feed. The birds seem to love it. Itâs totally edible so there is not a bunch of mess under my feeders. Whatever falls to the ground is quickly eaten by the doves and other ground feeders. I have this bird feed on a subscription so I receive it every so many weeks because I would not want to run out and have to buy an inferior kind.

Without shells from the seeds
Four some reason Amazon ask me to review the smell and the taste, The texture and the durability. How would I know about the taste? Or the smell? Or the texture? The durability is not relevant because it is and then no longer in my birdfeeder. Good value for money. The difficulty is that it has many small seeds that fall out of the birdfeeder onto the floor of the porch when I fill the birdfeeder and I hang it up. Somewhat of a mess.

Birds love it and do the wild life in my backyard.
Well it is a mess after the birds and squirrels finish eating out of the feeder. The feeder fell into the snow so I have to wait til spring to fill it up again. Birds love the food..

Good Product
I like Kaytee…and so do the birds! I appreciate that there’s no waste. There’s a lot of loss with seed that have fillers because birds won’t eat it. I have bought some of Kaytee’s other products and they are good quality.

Very Messy
Doesn’t seem to attract as many birds or as varied species of birds as sunflower hearts. In fact this is one of the messiest feeds I have ever used. A lot of waste ends up on the ground – I am guessing that they just toss what they don’t want to eat. Even squirrrels don’t seem interested in what ends up on the ground!

These seeds bring all the birds to the yard
Birds seem to enjoy these since I haven’t heard any complains and there hasn’t been any fatalities. I mostly have California Towhees, House Finches and Song and House Sparrows munching on it.
