I love these. I took printable magnet paper and typed the words of each picture. The kids match the picture to the word.

Pair these with magnet letters or a whiteboard and you have a perfect hands on literacy activity for young children. Once students have mastered their letter sounds and CVC words, I introduce them to blends and like to use these as a centre. Students love them!

Generally good – I’m a teacher and my students like them. A few of the words could have been better selected. Like “swan” – the “a” is a short “o” sound in that word, and most kids haven’t learned to read or write that when they’re still at blends.Overall good product though. I like how I can use them for so much – hide them in Easter eggs around the room, etc.
