Awesome clippers and trimmer, but beware of non-standard comb guards!
I was really surprised by the quality of the clippers and trimmer. Basically professional-grade, they don’t look or feel cheap at all. Well, the plastic comb guards aren’t QUITE on the same level as brand-name Wahl ones. But the actual clippers and their blades are top-notch and perform great.The most incredible thing about these is the battery life. I’ve had these things for over 3 months now, use them every weekend, and still haven’t gone below 50% battery life on either one yet! I actually had to plug them in and charge them for the first time before writing this review, just to make sure there wouldn’t be any surprise problems with the charging. Otherwise, I probably would have gone a few more months on the original charge from the factory.Personally, I like that these units charge with USB cables. However, there are two caveats that you should know about. First, this set only comes with the cables, not a charger. Sadly, that’s pretty much standard for all USB stuff these days. Secondly, while it’s USB on the end that plugs into the charger, the cable has a proprietary connector on the end that plugs into the clippers. So, you can’t use your own normal USB cables, as you can with other clippers that use USB on both ends. However, the set does come with two cables, even though both the clipper and trimmer use the exact same plug, so you’re basically getting a backup cable.The most important warning I can give is that THE PLASTIC COMB GUARDS FOR THESE CLIPPERS ARE NON-STANDARD, compared to every other pair of clippers I’ve ever seen before. Normally, the comb numbers represent eights of an inch (e.g. a #1 comb is 1/8 in, a #8 comb is a one full inch, etc). However, these combs are offset by two sizes. That is, if you’re accustomed to using a #2 comb, then you use a #4 comb here. A standard #3 comb is actually a #5 comb with this set, etc. I wasn’t paying close attention, and my first cut was WAY shorter than I was expecting! That was frustrating, but now I know.Despite being a little flimsy feeling, and having the weird size offsets, the combs that come with this set are perfectly usable as-is. However, a cool thing is that these clippers fit brand-name Wahl combs guards just fine. So, I salvaged the combs from my old worn-out Wahl clippers and are just using them instead now.Overall, there are a couple of quirks to keep in mind, but this is still an outstanding clippers and trimmer set. You get both units for around the same price that Wahl charges for clippers alone. And while the comb guards aren’t quite as good as Wahl’s, the actual units themselves feel like much higher quality than what Wahl sells in this range. Recommended.

Amazing Clipper set and it can use Wahl Clipper Guards!
I’m Amazed at everything you get for the price! I have included pictures comparing it to my old ‘full-size’ Wahl Clippers.The big clipper is slightly smaller and not has heavy as my old Wahl, but is still pretty hefty and heavy-duty feeling. Also as I stated in the title, you can actually use Wahl Clipper Guards on the big Clipper just fine. You can see it in one of the pictures with a green guard. This is actually a great thing because only the smaller trimmer comes with small guards and they don’t work with the big clipper. You can use the small Wahl guards with the big clipper!You truly get a lot for the money as seen in the pictures. Several clipper guards for both the big and small trimmer, a comb, charging cables, carrying bag, a small oil bottle, and even a cover for cutting hair!My favorite feature of these Clippers is the battery life indicator screen which shows the charge percentage. That screen will also tell you if the clippers need oiling as well. At first I wasn’t sure about the idea of USB chargers instead of a wall charger, but now I really like the idea because they are perfect for traveling since you will be able to charge them with any USB charger.There is a small misleading description though, it states that it is stainless steel – it is not. The small trimmer is completely plastic and the big trimmer only the front cover is metal, the rest is plastic. They still feel high quality but they are not fully stainless steel like they look.Besides that, you really can’t go wrong! I was looking for Wahl cordless trimmers until I came across these at a fraction of the price and I’m glad I did. These are very high quality and I love the fact that they come with TWO and they also work with your existing Wahl guards if you have any! Hope this helps 🙂

Quality for price is superb
Great set of trimmers. I like all the attachments it comes with, especially the left and right taper attachments. They feel very sturdy yet quite light which was a nice surprise. They’re also quiet. Much more quite than expected. They still make noise but it’s not deafening. They’re super easy to use as well: literally take out the trimmers, take out the attachments, and trim/ shave away. They also come fully charged which I was happy about. All in all, buying these trimmers for $40 seems like a steal. Definitely recommend

Good for the price!
I bought this to fix up my facial hairs 😭. So far, it has been really good—no problems at all. It’s easy to use, quiet, and offers great value for the price. The battery life is long, it feels very durable, and it works as intended. Plus, it’s easy to clean.

The clipper cuts through thick hair effortlessly. Trimmer works well in tight areas like behind ears and back of neck. If I cut my hair 4 times, this clipper/trimmer set has paid for itself.
