Scalp feels great!
This really is a great salon quality shampoo. First off, the shampoo smells nice. What I enjoy about going to the hair salon is they often have shampoo that smells really nice and just different from the ânormalâ shampoo you get at the drugstore. I just feel relaxed whenever Iâm getting my hair washed and I get a whiff of the lovely shampoo smell. This reminds me of that except I am in the comfort of my own home. Scent aside, this shampoo worked great on my hair. My hair did not itch in the 4 days since I used this shampoo. I usually wash my hair every other day but wanted to go a little longer to test the results so I washed it after the 4th day. There was no tingling or any strange sensation while using this shampoo, it just felt like a ânormalâ shampoo. It definitely helped my scalp. I try different shampoos and there just arenât a lot that I like because many seem to weigh my hair down. This is one that did not, which is wonderful. Once I am done with this bottle I would love to explore their other product line. Great quality, very happy with this brand.

Not color safe!!
Before I purchased this, I read several different reviews and websites that stated this shampoo was color safe. It completely stripped my color and didnât help with my dry scalp. Trash.

Not sure what happened when, but it does not seem to work as well as it used to. The “healthy scalp” part seems to work, there is no scent, which I like, but my hair no longer feels as soft and full as it used to with the earlier formulations.

Gentle Shampoo With Good Lather & Soothing Scent
This J Beverly Hills Solutions Healthy Scalp Shampoo gently cleanses my fine, dry, wispy hair and leaves it feeling soft and healthy. It can be a challenge for me to find haircare products that strike the right balance; some volume-boosting shampoos strip my strands, leaving them dry and brittle with lots of flyaways, while those formulated for dry hair often have heavy moisturizers that weigh down my thin locks and leave my hair limp and greasy-looking. I haven’t yet found a magic formula that creates volume while controlling flyaways, but this shampoo performs better than many others I’ve tried.Solutions Healthy Scalp Shampoo is slightly viscous with a pale amber color and a pearlescent sheen. It lathers nicely and has a pleasant scent. Though this contains eucalyptus, tea tree, witch hazel, rosemary, and peppermint oils, it doesn’t have the kind of pungent minty/woody aroma that I often associate with those ingredients. I can still detect those herbal/botanical scents, but there’s some type of added fragrance that “mellows” the overall effect. The scent is soothing and reminds me of the type of shampoos used in salons.As others have noted, this shampoo doesn’t have the refreshing tingle you might expect given the ingredients noted above. Also, the product page states that this shampoo “promotes new growth”, but I haven’t experienced that myself. The product page also promises “salon-quality … without the salon price”. However, at $24 for a 12-oz. bottle, I feel this is actually priced closer to salon brands than to mass-market brands. So, as much as I love this shampoo (and I really do!), these little details knock it down to 4 or 4.5 stars for me. But, overall, I’m very happy with this product and its performance!

Relief for my dry itchy scalp
This shampoo smells amazing and feels refreshing and instantly soothes my itchy scalp. I had never heard of this brand before but they caught my attention with this shampoo. I have used a lot of higher end hair care brands but since my favorite for many years got bought out and shut down a few years ago Iâve been bouncing from brand to brand searching for shampoo and conditioner I really like. While this one isnât quite a match, its better than any of the other salon brands Iâve tried. I love the smell. I love the tingly, soothing sensation I get on my scalp when I use it. I love that it does not leave my hair feeling greasy or weighed down. This shampoo leaves my hair feeling perfectly clean but not dry or stripped. It lathers up very nicely too which is a bonus. Iâve noticed a huge improvement in the condition of my scalp since I started using it; no more itching or flaking and my hair seems to be growing in a bit thicker in areas I noticed seemed to be thinning a bit several months ago.

Feels great on my scalp!
My skin is super-sensitive so I never quite know what will work for me and what will cause a rash, but I had a good feeling about this because the ingredients listed all seemed natural and not mildly caustic like most of the chemicals in the big brands. I love the eucalyptus scent and the tingly sensation that it gives my scalp. After using this my hair feels very clean without feeling like it’s been striped. And because it doesn’t have laurel sulfate in it my hair doesn’t get oily if I don’t wash it everyday. This is definitely a pricey option, but when I find something that works for me it’s worth the extra $.
