I LOVE these and so does my brat dog
These are freakin awesome! I still use papertowels when I need to absorb grease from food. But I use these cloths for everything else I would nornally have used for cleaning. The packaging indicates that the cloth and packaging itself are both compostable. It is a product of Germany so rest assured, it is NOT manufactured in China. I like to use these around the sink and line them in areas where there is a lot of water drippage, like under the faucet knob. Some of the cloths might have white streaks in them but it doesn’t affect the absorbency at all. Its just the way the fibers were mixed during production. I’ve washed mine multiple times in the washer and they hold up well. The packaging does indicate that you should not put them in the dryer. I accidentally threw them in the dryer the 2nd time I washed them and they ended up shrinking. But even though they shrank, they were still useable and still absorbed liquid just fine. They are very absorbent and strong so they’re a perfect replacement for papertowels for use on cleaning duties like scrubbing the stovetop or microwave (I use dishsoap and water). They don’t disintegrate like a papertowel would, they don’t leave behind bits of paper or lint, they dry quickly (but not flat) when you wring them out completely, they’re much easier to wring out than a dishtowel, they rinse out any debris extremely easily, they’re larger than the more expensive printed styles which brings me to my last point which is that they’re cheap! At close to just 1 dollar and some change, they are significantly less expensive than the designer cute printed cloths advertised as Swedish Dish Clothes. I was gifted one a few yrs ago with a lovely gnome design on it. I didn’t actually start using until recently and noticed that it was much smaller than the If You Care brand. The function is the same but seriously, there’s no point in paying more for a cleaning cloth when you can get it cheaper. Plus, if you have a dog like mine, you might be replacing them every so often. My dog has nabbed two clothes so far because she’s a brat and think its OK to use them as chew toys LOL I ordered 4 packs two months ago and I just ordered 3 more packs today since I like having a giant pile before I do kitchen laundry.

These sponge cloths are SO MUCH better than a regular kitchen sponge or a microfibre cloth. They soak up ALL the liquid and leave a nice clean dry surface on your counters. They can be washed in the washing machine many times. If you care about the environment and want to make your routine cleaning in the kitchen and bathroom easy, buy a pack of these natural cleaning sponge cloths.

So far, these work as a good alternative to paper towels. They absorb fluids well and wring out really nicely. They have a bit of scrub to them, which worked well when wiping down tables and the sink.I washed one once, and they do come out stiff (I air-dryed, per the instructions). I’ll trying to lay them flat next time instead of hanging on the line so I can store them more easily.I find they are a bit small – I would like them to be about twice as big. When wringing them out, it’s hard to get a grip to wring them.

I recommend these sponge cloths to take the place of paper towels for many uses. The material is very absorbent, but does dry into a “crunchy” state, but as soon as the cloth gets damp it immediately softens up. I have used them for drying pots and pans as they are not abrasive. Another cloth was placed in my garage for washing the windows of my car, and the sponge cloth performed admirably for that task as well. The dirt on the cloth was easily washed off with a little regular soap.My only suggestion would be for the manufacturer to make a double or triple-sized sheet of this material, as my only criticism is that these sheets are a bit small for some cleaning tasks. However, I do recommend this product.

We had been purchasing the SKOY washcloths and, on a Wirecutter tip, tried these. Immediately won-over wife. She loves these. They do dry rather stiff, but soften right up with moisture. They seem to be a very resilient, tough product.

I’ve almost stopped using paper towels in my kitchen since I got these. They are durable. You just wet it, add a little dish soap, and scrub down your countertop, stove-top, whatever. Then rinse it, and wipe again. Nice and clean, shiny, no lint or residue. Great product. Helps reduce waist.

These are amazing and the only cloths Iâve used for the last couple of years. They soak up a lot of liquid and leave surfaces nearly dry when you use them. Also machine washable and I get loads of use out of one before replacing it.

These sponges are excellent, they’re not too large or too small, they’re thin enough they feel like a paper towel. One side has triangular waves and the other has lines going down. They soak up super well and dry quick enough. One thing I hate about sponges is how dust and hair get stuck to it and it’s annoying to try to keep using it but this doesn’t happen with these. The best part is being able to wash them and use as new.They’re my go-to for wiping off the counters, stovetop, and bathroom now!
