Icy Hot in an easy to use roll-on format.
Icy Hot is a brand just about everyone is familiar with by this point, as it has been around forever. This product is an easy to apply roll on making it perfect for night time usage, in comparison to creams that can be a bit of a mess if applying before bed. The lavender scent is great for relaxing time. In my case, it did seem to do the job, but as with any product like this, your mileage may vary. Pricing wise, at the time of review, it was very reasonable, making this easy for me to recommend.

Easy-to-Use Nighttime Pain Relief
This Icy Hot roll-on is a great option for easing aches and pains before bed, the cooling menthol works fast on sore muscles and the lavender scent adds a relaxing touch to the process. Using a roll-on applicator is definitely a lot more convenient than getting greasy or messy hands, just quick and targeted pain relief. Quite fast and feels good, the compact size is great for travel so it’s definitely a solid choice for nighttime recovery!

Roll on applicator keeps menthol off your hands
This Icy Hot Nighttime Recovery No-Mess Pain Reief worked about as well as other Icy Hot products. It originally gave a cool sensation to the applied area and then warmth. I really like that this is a roll-on applicator and keeps your hands free of the menthol smell. I do feel like it had a slight lavender smell however the menthol is clearly the stronger scent and therefore that’s all I smelled after applying.The box arrived sealed with an expiration date of 11/2026.

Easy on the senses
Aside from it only being a temporary distraction from pain, itâs still nice to have on hand when youâre struggling a little extra. I have issues in my lower back so Iâve spent plenty of time sitting on a heating pad with regular IcyHot. Itâs not a bad combo most of the time but the smell of the regular just makes my head pound a lot of the time so I thought this might be a little better on my senses. It really is a lot easier to handle. I love the roller bottle, so much easier and less mess than the tube you have to rub on. Iâm not a huge fan of the patches so I donât really use them. My only gripe is that this doesnât work as well as the regular IcyHot. So you have pros and cons to each, just depends on what you need at the time.

I’m reviewing Icy Hot Nighttime Recovery No-Mess Pain Relief with Roll-On Applicator, 8% Menthol for Targeted Relief from Nighttime Aches and Soreness, Relaxing Lavender Scent, 2 Oz.I wasn’t sure how lavender would pair with menthol, but for me it’s a pleasant combination. The pain relief was similar to other roll-on products I’ve used.It comes in a 2 oz bottle with a plastic roll ball top under the cap. This bottle arrived in a cardboard box that was glue sealed shut on both ends making it tamper-resistant. The EXP is 11/26. See photos for package information including drug facts and ingredients.Note, the roller ball is lavender colored, but the cream is actually white. Once rubbed in there was no transfer or staining to fabric.I find the current price of $6.99 to be reasonable.As a side note, this Icy Hot Nighttime Recovery No-Mess Pain Relief with Roll-On Applicator is made in Japan.

Works Really Well
This icy hot nighttime recovery works really well. It features the roll on applicator for easy use and contains 8% menthol. It does give the sensation of feeling cold at first that transitions to a warm feeling. I suffer from lower back problems and this has helped me to kind of relax that area when it is flaring up. It also did not leave any kind of residue or anything on the back of my shirt after applying which was nice.The only somewhat negative thing I have to say is that I don’t prefer the lavender scent. It is fine but I’m not a huge lavender fan overall. I don’t blame them for that though and don’t deduct any stars since it clearly says that in the listing and it is just a personal preference. Overall though it works great and just as described.

He applied it to his back and neck at bedtime and reported that his pain was gone by morning.As expected, the menthol scent transfers to linens, clothing, and other items, which is typical for these products. The scent is a mix of menthol and lavender and isnât too unpleasant. However, it can be messy if not stored upright.A little goes a long way, so I expect this 2 oz roll-on bottle to last a long time. Overall, itâs a great product from a reliable company whose products weâve trusted for years.
