The HeadBlade was designed for a single function–make head shaving easy. We accomplished this by following a couple of simple design principles:
The user had to be able to shave by feel. In other words, the razor had to sit close to the head.The razor needed two contact points to create a ‘suspension’ allowing the blade to automatically pivot and follow the contour of the head.
How did we get our start?
The original HeadBlade was designed in 1997 by Todd Greene out of necessity. He had been suffering for years with the traditional stick razor, and felt there had to be a better way.

HeadLube Matte has a nice dull finish, knocking down the classic “Shiny Head” that us bald folk are known for.
This stuff is different from your average aftershave lotion. It’s paraben, perfume, and dye free, and is made with all the best stuff for your skin, like aloe and tea tree oil.
HeadLube Matte is Non-Comedogenic, which is a long and fancy word for it doesn’t clog your pores, keeping your head healthy & hydrated – without the acne (yuck).

Feel good and smells good
Doesn’t do much for cutting down the shine but I have found that except my wife’s finishing powder, that she puts on her face, nothing does. But who wants to cover their SMP up, that you paid $3000 for, with powder. I am giving it 4 stars because it feel refreshing when you put it on and it smells good. I think it will make my SMP last longer but I will have to ask my hairless dresser when I get their this December for a refresher head job what he thinks. I have had my SMP for 2 years now and love it. People always guess me at least 10 years younger and they threaten to card me to get any of my senior special prices.

Works Great
First time trying this matte moisturizer. I’ve been shaving my head for years and I’m not a fan of the shine right after shaving. The matte moisturizer works perfectly to eliminate the shine. I’ll definitely make this a regular part of my head shaving routine. Great product. Highly recommend.

Too runny and greasy
As other have stated, the lotion is very thin and it’s hard to dispense without making a mess on the cap or spilling some of it. While it does give a matte look at first, it has a greasy feel to it and makes your head and face feel oily. I give it 3 stars instead of 2 because it has a light, pleasant smell to it.

Ditch the Shine
Don’t be intimidated by the bright lights any longer, my hairless friends. It only takes a tiny drop, rubbed in your hands and applied to the old noggin, to squelch the glare created by shaving it bald. I like it. A lot.

Lightly scented and very refreshing on the head. A lot of reviews stated the product was too runny. Not my container. Itâs just like a cream or moisturizer and not runny at all. I would buy this product again for sure.

ZERO QUALITY CONTROL – AND ZERO REFUNDS
I’ve been using this product daily for over a decade. When it’s formulated properly, it works great. However, over the past few years, they appear to have no quality control whatsoever. As others have reported here, sometimes it’s extremely runny and sometimes it’s gritty and sometimes it’s both. And, they won’t refund your money if you get a bag batch.There is no excuse for this!It’s so obvious there’s a problem. You open one tube, turn it upside down and you have to squeeze before anything comes out, when it’s formulated correctly. Open another tube and turn it upside down and it runs out like water. You can even tell just by shaking it that something isn’t right.I’ve reported this to their customer service several times. They simply don’t seem to care. I wonder how much they care if some harmful chemicals end up in their products? I’m guessing not much.

Sorry about the one hand video. Product does go on the noggin okay. My beef is with what is in the cap. Often more than the dab I need.
