I chose this one because of the lavender fragrance. I was disappointed that the fragrance is barely noticeable. Also, the size of the pad is disappointing. It is very small, so it does not stay in place very well. It heats nicely but does not retain heat for very long. I will be returning it.

My mom uses heat pads all day long for her bone on bone knees. I bought quite a few but never thought about washing them. I threw them out eventually because they got stained or started to smell. I came across these and gave them a try. They are great. First, they’re very very soft. It’s the perfect size for a knee. They stay warm about 20 minutes or so, which is perfect. And they’re WASHABLE! Very easy to remove the cover and wash. Great value too. Microwave heating pads are VERY expensive and most are not washable.

Started on fire in the microwave after the 3rd use
Thought this thing was magic until it started on fire in the microwave. Followed all the appropriate instruction and it started popping and smoking after the 3rd time I used it. Luckily my girlfriend found it in time before it caused serious damage.
