Fit was smaller tighter than expected
Hand size is always tricky and no different. Between most people guessing hand size and glove size probably not standardize itâs no surprise these were smaller than expected. The biggest reason for not returning and ordering a larger size is the heat resistance. These gloves do not provide the level of heat resistance to comfortably use my current commercial grade appliance.

Great for kitchen work
I use these at work in a kitchen under my normal plastic gloves. They’re great for heat resistance without being too bulky like other heat resistant gloves made for kitchen work. I like having a couple fingers free for more delicate work while still having protection against hot pans or steaming tortillas. And they fit my hands better than other gloves that are clearly made for men despite being unisex. I get teased a bit, but at the same time everyone asks where I got them, so I call it a win. I have them in black and pink.

They are fine. Even holding a curl after youâve removed the iron starts to get a bit hot but they do save my fingers from a lot of burns

Exactly what I was looking for
I needed something to protect my thumb, index finger and the area in between the thumb and index finger. Definitely worth buying if you need to protect your hand while ironing. I have used the glove to hold down cloth while ironing new seams, heat bonded appliques, and small areas such as shirt collars and cuffs. It fits my hand perfect, and velcro strap holds the glove in place. I tried the silicone finger covers, but it was useless because it only covers the fingers and thumbs. It did NOT protect the area between my thumb and index finger.
