Best manicure set I’ve ever had
I know it’s expensive but the tools within this set are truly high quality, very sharp, and, I expect, long-lasting. I bought this to replace a similar Germanikure set my sister bought me (that version had two clippers and a crystal file), which tragically I lost. It was worth the money to buy this as a replacement, which I am trying to be much more careful with! I like the steel file this comes with better than the crystal one as it’s easier to use the point to clean under my nails. The scissors are some of the best, sharpest grooming scissors I’ve ever seen, and perfect for my janky toenails.I used to use super cheap manicure kits–the type you might get as free swag or buy at the checkout counter. Those break and don’t file well. I figured why bother with better? So glad my sister bought me the original set and that I have this one, because the quality translates to ease of use and durability.

Beautifully crafted
This manicure set was hands-down worth every penny I spent on it. The implements are so well made – solid, and ergonomic – unlike so many lesser made sets. The blades of the scissors and nail clippers are incredibly sharp and Iâm especially happy with the way the nail clippers in the set sit so nicely in the hand when Iâm using them, rather than slipping into the wrong position like cheap ones do when pressure is applied for nail cutting. The leather case is of high quality as well. This set was a slam dunk purchase for me and I highly recommend it.

World class tools form the basis for a tool set
Finally, in late life, I’m using world-class top-grade grooming tools. Their clipper blade design differs from all others I’ve ever encountered in that the blade, while curved, are less curved and that takes some getting used to. The file in this kit is a very nice addition to what’s become my file suite: glass, crosscut, and whatever they call this one (fish around on the Germanikure site to identify them all).

High quality and solid construction went into crafting this manicure set. I have a few stubborn toe nails that are thick due to breaking them off a few times over the years. This kit works in those stubborn nails, and shows zero signs of wear with 6 months of use. I highly recommend this product to anyone needing a high quality set.

Quality product; file scratched up
This is a nice set and the case is nice. It’s much better than Tweezerman. The toenail clippers aren’t for thick toenails because I have to work a little to get mine between it to click and mine are just normal toenails. They are sharp, the manicure scissors especially are sharp. It’s a quality set. My main issue is that I’ve used the set about 4 times and I’m careful to put it back in the case but the sapphire nail file is already scratched up. For a set like this which cost so much that was just surprising to me, I expected it to last well and look nice while it’s lasting.
