THE BEST FOR OILY SKIN
Oddly my face is now oily at 59… it took awhile and quite a bit of money to find all new face products. Hands down this spray is the best!! I like that it sprays a fine mist, which is very important to get even coverage. The smell (lavender) is good, although I think Iâll try cucumber next. Itâs a bit much for the first 15 minutes for me. Reason for 4 stars on scent. It does smell authentic though if you like lavender. It also drys well and doesnât feel sticky. It actually does a little at first, so resist the temptation to blot some off. I use about 2-3 pumps. So my routine for oily skin is as follows:Clinique Dramatically different moisturizing gelThank me later matte face primer This stuff is AMAZING!!!Estée Lauder Double wear Stay in place MakeupLaura Mercer cream blush (oleander is great for all skin tones)Dermablend Loose setting powder. I use translucentSLAY all day setting sprayLet each layer dry before applying the next one. Bonus to this method is Iâm not getting acne breakouts anymore too!!Hopefully this can help someone not spend a ton of money to make your foundation last all day without getting shiny. This routine has actually lasted 24 hrs I fell asleep with in on, and was shocked it still looked great when I woke up.

Best setting spray I have ever used!!!
Works better than any expensive brand Iâve used. I have oily skin and normally my makeup looks cakey after a few hours or just rubs off but this kept it perfect for ALL DAY. The smell isnât strong and goes away after a few seconds but I love that this really keeps you matte.

This is the best scent of the Gerard Cosmetics settings spray. I use it as a facial refresher during the day. Especially sent for spring and summer smells just like Creamsicle ice cream. It does not leave a sticky residue.

Poor shipping
The product itself is wonderful and honestly the best setting spray Iâve ever used but I had to remove a star because the bottle was open and about a third of my bottle leaked out and soaked my shipping box. Iâve never had an issue getting make up shipped to me through other makeup retailers so maybe I just got a bad bottle. I was so desperate for setting spray though, so I wonât be sending it back. It really is the best spray for my combo skin and I purchased the coconut scent for my vacation Iâm going on (that I needed it for)! Scent is strong and synthetic but it disappears a few minutes after being sprayed to the face! I wish they would just make an unscented version.

The smell is so good! Just like coconuts! Love the scent! As far as setting makeup, it works really well! I work 13-15hr days 5 to 6 days a week and by time I get off shift makeup is still in place. Ofcourse your face gets a tad whiney due to natural oils (my skin gets super oily) but it’s way better than other brands and holds it very well with minimal shine threw out the day. My new favorite!

Great product but horrible smell!
First of all, when my product arrived it came without a spray nozzle which meant I couldnât use the product as is, so that was frustrating. Luckily, I had a glass spray bottle that I could use so one I transferred the product to the glass container I was able to start using it. I bought this product in the peach scent and let me tell you, itâs intense. When I put on my face, to me, it smells like cough syrup but when my husband walks in the room after I put it on he thinks it smells like paint so as you can imagine the scent is not a winner for me. Now with all that being said, the actual product, minus the smell, is great. I notice my makeup stays and looks really well when I use it and as an oily skin girl that is amazing. My only suggestion is that if you try this setting spray, I would go for a different scent than the peach.

I tried many setting sprays this is one of the best. Iâve been using my favorite mint chocolate chip and orange-creamsicle scent setting spray but have not been able to find it so I decided to try the coconut scented one and I absolutely love it. Does the Job. Keeps my make up looking fresh till the end of my shift. Smells amazing.

Ha un profumo freschissimo di the verde (ottimo e rinfrescante per l’estate), aumenta la durata del make up e aiuta a trattenere la lucidità della pelle. Si può usare sia prima del trucco che dopo. Un trucchetto che mi migliora la pelle è mettere la cipria, spruzzare il setting spray e poi procedere con fondo/bb cream e usare ancora lo spray. Perfetto per pelli miste/grasse.

In my opinion this is one of the best setting sprays I’ve used. I brought the peach scent and it smells heavenly. All I’ll say is keep your eyes closed till the spray evaporates fully into your skin. I test it out did a simple makeup look and use 2 sprits. By the way I’m oily. I wore this for 6hrs went out while the weather was 30°C and very humid and the makeup still looked flawless and in place. The pricing is right for this product. I would recommend for oily and combo skin types. I dont know for dry skin types but I’m pretty sure it will work for you guys as well. Also the delivery came on time.
