Found myself playing with these too
I originally bought three of these pens as gifts for my nieces and nephew. They unwrapped them. I noticed how eye catching they were. as they played with them, I noticed how many different ways you could shape them, kind of like a glorified fidget toy. Next thing I knew I was playing with one of the pens. I must say the magnets in them are pretty strong. Nothing about this pen is cheaply made. I would buy these pens again, both for the gift value and the reasonable pricing.

Funny toy but not for small kids
It’s a cute fidget toy. The magnets are strong, it’s easy to use and fun to play with. The pen works pretty well. The pieces are Very small when all separated so definitely watch younger kids with it. The pieces are easy to choke on and lose.

I bought three of these. One for an 11 year old disabled child. One for a slightly autistic 8 year old, and one for a six year old. So far they love them. Very busy with them. Great gift!!!

Functional but Not Durable
Within four hours of constant use the pen broke for the first time. Just clicking the magnets back and forth. Then another magnet shattered very quickly again. It writes beautifully and if you’re using it as just a fun pen thats one thing. Unfortunately if you do have the urge to fidget constantly it breaks very quickly.
