A quality set, although I had trouble with the eyebrow scissors
I usually trim my eyebrows with hair cutting shears and eyebrow comb. I thought I would try this set to make things a little easier for my self. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed, but nevertheless, Iâm glad to have tried it and the tools seem well made.THE EYEBROW RAZOR:The highest quality tool is definitely the metal eyebrow razor. It has a weight to it, seems to be crafted well, works very well and comes with three replacement blades. The handle has a pattern that is good for grip and itâs slightly curved, which helps in its use. The blades have tiny ridges to help guide hairs. Iâm not going to be using this on my eyebrows or around my eyes. This razor seems a little dangerous if youâre not paying attention. I may perhaps use it in other areas around my body to remove hairs I missed in my regular shaving.THE EYEBROW TRIMMING SCISSORS:I am disappointed most in the eyebrow trimming scissors. I was hopeful that this would help me significantly. I admit I have never used one of these before, so perhaps Iâm not using it right, but when I tried it, it was extremely difficult to get it to cut my eyebrows. The comb part of the scissors worked very well in separating the brows and pulling them upwards, but it could not hold them away from my skin enough so that the blade could cut them. No matter which way I turned or angled this scissors, I could not get it to cut my eyebrows. It could just be me, I donât know. I tried the scissors to cut the ends of my hair (from my head) and it seemed to function great. I might just use these to help trim my bangs/fringe.THE EYEBROW COMB:The eyebrow comb looks like a disposable mascara applicator, and it seems like a small bonus in this set. The handle is plastic and the comb is like a tapered/shaped pipe cleaner. I actually think these work great in shaping brows and separating them for trimming.FINAL THOUGHTS:This feels like a quality set, with an inexpensive eyebrow comb (disposable mascara applicator) thrown in as a bonus. Itâs great that the razor has extra blades and works well. It would be nice if a pouch was included for storage. Even if I cannot use these tools for the exact thing they were intended for, they are still nice to have and will come in handy.
