Great shaver put other name brands to shame
I purchased this for my husband after his norelco shaver broke for like the 3rd time and hearing him complain how it would die so quick and that the blades cost almost as much as the shaver.so I went online read like what seemed to be a million reviews and selected this one after reading some great reviews and swing that it was fast charging and was able to get wet and didnât cost a ton of money in fact this cost almost a third of what his older shaver did and shaved just as good or better then his old norelco did and came in a nice sturdy box with a black storage bag and the charging usb cable included the fact that it can get charged via a usb cable was a plus bc he can charge it at home or in his car or where ever without having to buy a specific cable for each use it also seems very sturdy has a nice indicator screen and the battery lasts he says itâs super easy to clean and with the click of a button and even came with a blade head cover for when he isnât using it so they donât get dinged up or dirty and as I saw the blade head replacement are super cheap going to be stocking up on them soon so I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a shaver that doesnât want to spend an insane amount and wants something that lasts long and works great

Smooth Close Shave
Works pretty well, gives close shave. This is my second razor with the same model number. I really like how easy it is to use. Charges fast with USB cable. The last one I had lasted exactly 11 months before it would not charge again. Inexpensive so I bought another one. Hopefully they improve the battery.

Cheap Alternative to Norelco
I previously owned three Norelco models. The first one’s battery faded out. The second one’s head assembly basically shattered. The third one just stopped turning on. Thus, I have no great love for the brand, but do want a rotary razor. Shaving with T-Max is on par with Norelco as far as closeness and comfort. A full charge lasts longer than most Norelco razors, but the claim of 120 minutes is exaggerated. I like having a digital charge % readout over the usual 5 LED gauge, but know that it isn’t linear (countdown from 100% to 80% is slow, then speeds up in the middle range, before slowing down again near the bottom). I also like recharging with a USB cable rather than requiring a proprietary adapter/cable — T-Max just needs to switch to USB-C instead of micro-A.Now the durability issue: My first T-Max lasted 3-4 years of daily use. Battery was fine. I didn’t even bother changing the heads, as the shaving quality was fine. However, after removing the head assembly for cleaning one day, the hinge assembly broke. A replacement head only cost $4 less than a new razor, so I’m on my second one.

Second purchase of an excellent product
This is actually my third purchase of a Max-T razor, and second for this one. I bought the first one probably four or five years ago as a travel razor to go with my primary home name brand N_co razor. Multiple attempts to get replacement blades for the name brand razor yielded HORRIBLE, face-snagging results, from multiple replacement sets. I’d been happy with the Max-T travel razor, so I bought my first of these. Each shave uses about 3% of the battery, sometimes less. It works as well or better than the N_co razor, and replacement blades have all been good too. I bought another one because eventually the battery will be unable to hold a charge, and it is hard to get to and looks almost impossible to replace (it is an AA-sized 14500 cell). I wanted a backup of this excellent product, that has never given me any grief. I’d prefer it to have USB-C, but it certainly isn’t worth taking off a star for that.

Good value
I gave them 5 stars for many reasons. The saver stop working in exactly 8 months. I call Amazon and thru them I connected with the manufacturer, to my surprise they honor the one year exchange ,it took about 3 weeks to complete the transaction. The new saver arrived as promised but the head was detached i had to push it in place..Now what I like ,it comes with a charger and it is USB ,if you travel you don’t have to deal with proprietary connections . The battery last forever I travel for month and I did not have to charge it again. The save is acceptable especially if you used daily,it does not irritate my skin easy to clean and it is inexpensive.

Good battery life. I can charge fully and take on a 2-3 week trip and still have charge left over. Easy to clean, I just run water over it. Seems to be better than my old Norelco where water would pass from the shaver section to the trimmer section. This one does not. Of course, easy to use 🙂

Stops charging
I’ve bought three Max T shavers. The first one lasted three years and stopped charging. The second one lasted less than 2 months and wouldn’t charge, so I returned it. I bought the last one in May, and it is now December, and it has stopped charging. I figured out with the last one that it is the cord, so I’m now using a phone charger cord. Otherwise, it’s a good shaver.

I am happy with my purchase. Shaver works well. So far (for 4 months) it did not disappoint me. Overall quality is good for the price. I take one star off for body material. It could be less that slippery. Ribbed area under head (where fingers mostly hold it) could be made of non-slippery rubber. And main button needs protection from accidental turn on during transportation in a bag.

So quiet and smooth cutting. Always had a microfoil shaver- remmington. It finally wore out after 20 years. Went to london drugs and bought new philips microfoil. Had it for 3 months and could not bring myself to like it and the longer i used it the more i hated it. I saw the max t on amazon for $40.00 less than Canadian tire had it for on sale and read the reviews and bought it. It’s definitely a great machine. No whiskers get missed and it so softAnd smooth. Do yourself a favor… get one
