Defective tube
The tube mechanism will not move the gloss out of the tube. No amount of clicking or rotating affects the gloss level.Unfortunately, Amazon will not send a replacement unless I return this product. The UPS store is 20 miles from my home and not worth the hassle for an $8 gloss. Will not order from Amazon for inexpensive products again. Their customer service and resolution options aren’t what they used to be.

Natural looking & not sticky!
Just got this! First time using it and i am in love! 4 star ONLY DUE to the fact that the stick kind of like.. broke off. So I ended up loosing a good chunk already and had to push up for more. Other than that its not sticky!! Huge plus! Not overly glossy and you can feel the tingling/plumping. Also does not give me the impression of drying out my lips. I think I found my new lip product. Again, not 100% sure being it broke/mushed off. I’ll see how I feel about it the next few uses of whatever is left of it now

Smooths and mild plumping
This provides more of a natural plumping effect that still looks natural. For those who have creases on their lips, this fill it out and smooths over, but doesn’t go overboard like some plumpers.It does not last long, maybe three hours and then I have to reapply but could be do to usage (how often you drink something or talk).If you opt for the tinted variety may need a lip liner to keep it in place. It doesn’t really “run”, but builds up more around the edges. I bought tinted and clear, but have used the clear almost daily. I will purchase this again.

**UPDATE** Had to knock it down a star (3 to 2) – On application #6 or 7, new product no longer moved up regardless of how many times you clicked the button. My application consists of two swipes on my bottom lip, rub top and bottom together, then 1 to 2 swipes on the top, to even everything out after rubbing together again. I’m not skimping on product, yet I don’t believe I’m going overboard either. Anyway, what product is still visible/usable, is maybe a single light application. Yes elf is everyday affordable, but I don’t think a dollar per application is reasonable, especially when it is just minty-esque, thick lip balm, not an actual lip plumper. It pains me to give such a negative review for a company and products that I absolutely love.Texture is thicker than expected. Its not waxy or goopy, but its not slick either. Texture is similar to say Carmex mating with Chapstick (memory from the 80’s).I feel a slight tingle, but I get just as much tingle from Carmex or peppermint lip balm (Avon, 1990’s formula).Time will tell if it actually does anything or if its just another lip balm I toss in my purse.5 stars for elf being 100% cruelty-free and vegan!!! As well as every day, affordable pricing.5 stars for this product actually being clear.2.5 stars for the texture and wear-ability.0 stars for the lack of tingle one expects in a plumper.The clicker delivery aspect is a bit weird, but doesn’t weigh in on any of the above mentioned scores.

Rly sad about this, I LOVE elf products & I had high hopes, but I’ve applied this 3x in the past 45 mins w/ no plumping effect at all. It is very glossy & hydrating, so I will keep using it. Just wish it plumped, even just a little lol ughhh

Habe ein wenig gebraucht um zu checken, dass man unten mehrmals klicken muss damit der Balm oben rauskommt. Trägt sich sehr leicht auf und klebt nicht. Hat einen schönen glossy Look. Allerdings wirkt er bei mir nicht aufpolsternd, daher einen Stern Abzug.
