Good formula, unclear shade colors
I like the formula, it’s easy to blend out, but the shades themselves are frustrating to work with.Looking at the photos provided by Amazon and e.l.f., I thought that the shade “1 Fair” was going to be a cool grey brown, good for contouring my face. When I blended it out, it ended up being too light for me, and more of a warm grey brown. Contouring is about enhancing already there shadows, or tricking the eye into thinking that there are shadows where there aren’t any. The shadows that fall on my face are more cool-tone, so a warmer color doesn’t look as natural on me when I’m trying to sculpt my jaw or make my cheekbones more defined.I’m hesitant to try another shade because all of the other shades advertised look too warm for my skin tone.I understand that this product is marketed both as a contour and bronzer, so the shades have to strike a balance between being shadowy enough to shade the face, and being sun-kissed enough to give a healthy glow. I just wish that I was provided with a photo of what the colors look like blended out, along with the swatches on different skin tones

Im very very fair skinned so this colour worked well for me! Not orange at all! I use it to lightly contour my forehead, nose , jaw line and cheek bone area. I put it on before my foundation to prevent a muddy look. Overall colour is great, texture is great , easy to blend and silicone based which works well with my silicone based foundation. Extremely reasonably priced and honestly combats some of the most expensive concealers in my opinion. Itâs really more about technique anyway.

Die Farbe ist zum konturieren ok, der Auftrag ist allerdings mit dem Applikator kaum möglich und viel zu unpräzise. Wenn man die Farbe mit einem Pinsel abnimmt klappt es ganz gut, die Farbe lässt sich gut verblenden und hält bei mir auch recht gut. Trotzdem überzeugt mich das Gesamtergebnis nicht, was vielleicht aber auch an meiner Farbauswahl liegt. Nichts desto trotz würde ich nächstes Mal zu anderen Marken greifenâ¦

Excellent product but start with very small amount, as this is an extremely and I mean extremely pigmented Bronzer . This tone is also perfect for me and Iâm a fair/light warm undertone, this is a Bronzer tone NOT a Countour shade .
