Is it a gimmick? Maybe. But it makes my feet feel wonderful so I don’t care if there’s no science behind it. I also feel better. Perhaps it’s from just sitting for 20 minutes. Whatever the case, I like this machine and will be using it often.You add warm water to a foot bath, insert the gizmo cage thing in the water, add some salt, wear the cheapo wrists trap and fire it up. The wrist strap will get uncomfortable if you don’t have a lot of moisture in your skin there. A damp cotton pad helps. Think TENS unit–It’s not, but you need good contact with the skin to make it work.Add salt to get the current up to 1.5. I used the tiny measuring spoon at first but ultimately just took the shaker and added salt slowly every once and a while to get the current up where the machine was happy.The water turns orange pretty quick. I have copper pipes so I expect that accounts for most of it. After 20 minutes it looks brown. There were also some healthy black chunks of something in the water that I’m sure didn’t come from my feet. I ran the same test with no feet (probe in the water) and got the same results so the water changing color and the chunks of stuff are from the contaminants in my city water and the metal in the coil whatzit.There’s nifty music preloaded on the machine. There’s a couple of pairs of Dollar Tree headphones included if you want to listen. No volume control but it’s a feature I guess (volumeless?)There are two stations if you want to chill with friends while you soak.There’s 5 modes. I couldn’t really change modes nor could I tell what the difference would be in the 5 modes but there are 5. That’s more than the machines with only 3 or 4. 5 I tell ya! Really, the modes are supposed to be Treatment, Negative, Positive, Modification and Therapy. I got that from a different but identical machine’s description. Are the modes different at all? Sure, why not.I like the relaxing results. I don’t like the stains the water will leave if it spills on anything. I got it on one of our new towels and now it’s with the puppy shampoo and dog bath stuff. What…Dogs are colorblind! She’ll never notice.I don’t like how big and heavy the base is. I don’t know why it takes such a large box to make 15A of wall current into 2A of body electricity. Perhaps it’s to hold all the MP3s.I’m keeping a star for the bulky bit and the MP3 controls that are somewhere below the STOP button on the faceplate. Also, headphones from Dollar Tree are terrible. Don’t shop for headphones at the Dollar Tree.

Haven’t used it yet. I am wanting to read all the instructions before I use it. To be honest, this looks like the same technology that is used in my pool. I do have to say my pool uses less chlorine and stays nice and clean longer since using the coil. Now, I am going to have to read to see if I need to add salts to my water or not. It doesn’t say on the page.
