Dove Men+Care Aluminum Free 3 Pack Rustic Sandalwood Deodorant for Men smells fantastic! OK, confession time: instead of buying separate deodorants for my husband and me, I will often buy one product that we share. As a result, I try to stay away from any florals or powdery scents that would not be suitable for my husband. I have become used to using scents that are a bit more masculine, like this rustic sandalwood. To be honest, I think this is a perfectly generic, unisex fragrance that men or women could enjoy. I love that these are aluminum free, since that’s something I’ve been very cognizant of lately for health reasons. I also love that it goes on clear because I always put my shirt on after my deodorant, and often get white streaks on my clothing. Just be aware that this is deodorant, NOT antiperspirant. That means that I will probably use these in the cooler months and switch to antiperspirants during the hot, humid summer. Still, it kept me feeling fresh and smelling great all day, so I love it!

Strong scent, slightly sticky. Works well for 24+ hours
Dove is a known and trusted skincare brand, but my household has mixed feelings about this Dove Rustic Sandalwood deodorant. One person thought its scent was too strong, while another found it mild and pleasant. Both people tried it on less than fresh armpits, with the result being a more pleasant smell for both. Without applying much, it felt sticky to both grownups and maybe thatâs the plant-based moisturizer that weâre not familiar with. If you’re trying to avoid aluminum then this might work fine for you. The stickiness mostly went away within the first couple hours.Our household did not find that it was effective for the full 72-hours. 24 hours, sure. 36, not really. 48, definitely not. Itâs pretty decent for that first 24 hours though, and most people would apply deodorant daily.Although one of my family members had had underarm rashes from some deodorants in the past, they did not notice any irritation with this Dove deodorant after several days.One person would give it a thumbs up overall for the pleasant scent, lack of irritation, and 24-hour usage. The other would give it a thumbs down for the too-strong scent and the sticky feeling.I think this could work well for a lot of people, particularly those who wear scented deodorant on a regular basis. People with a sensitivity to smell or stickiness might not like it as well.

Dove Aluminum & Baking Soda Free Deodorant – Works
So, I have been using the standard deodorant/antiperspirants for decades. I’m hoping not to suffer from the effects of aluminum based products that have been on the market for 50 years. I guess it’s never too late to switch, so I did. These are deodorants and don’t claim to be an antiperspirant but they seem to work just fine. The sandalwood scent is nice compared to the standard “fresh” scent of most deodorants. Glad I made the switch. I tried other deodorants with similar claims, and they did not work as well. Many left oily residue everywhere which got on my clothes, which I really don’t like. This didn’t leave any stains and it’s easy to apply with a good applicator. Dove doesn’t do animal testing which is a feel good benefit as well. Good value for money with this 3 piece set.

Feels good, smells good
This deodorant feels good, no burning or sting, rolls on easy. No clumping or flaking. I have bought many a products from them, especially body washes.And this smells like one of their body washes. I don’t know how to describe it. It smells like “sandalwood”, that is it has a earthy tone. It’s definitely a manly scent and not light or fruity. The smell doesn’t linger or come out normally which I like since I wear cologne. But it’ll come out and ‘activate’ if you are sweating.

Like a luxury version of aluminum-free deodorant
Definitely has a more luxurious feel to it than many of the aluminum-free deodorant alternatives on the market. I like to use this type of deodorant (without antiperspirant) during the colder months (when I am wearing layers) and this one is a great option for that. Goes on very smooth and comfortable. The aroma is noticeable without being obnoxious, and has a good sandalwood quality to it. A bit pricey per ounce, but the quality justifies it.

I like the warm woody scent. Sandalwood is one of my favorite scents. This makes my armpits feel good. It has a soothing feeling as I swipe it on my armpits. It’s easy to apply the right amount. It doesn’t stain my shirts. I put it on after taking a shower in the morning and my pits still smell good before bed at night. It works very well. I love Dove products. Good quality and great price for a 3 pack.

Great scent but sadly can’t last through a normal work day
I really want to like this deodorant. The smell is great, it doesn’t leave stains, I get no irritation, and I love that it’s aluminum free, however, after about 8 hours the BO protection wears off, and I’m not someone who sweats a lot, in fact, I hardly sweat at all.I really love the scent though, very fresh and clean smelling.

I have really enjoyed using this deodorant. The sandalwood scent is pleasant yet subtle, providing a fresh feeling without being overpowering. The smooth application is a breeze, and I appreciate the value of the three-pack since I tend to go through deodorant quickly. My only minor issue was the packaging size; it seems overly large for just the three sticks.
