Several downsides with this product
Really wanted and needed this product to work. And it may still for some. But if your trying to cover a scar near a body part that has a lot of movement dont waste your money. My scar is by my mouth and the stuff only stays on for about 30 min tops before the edges start peeling back and it looks like you just literally have a nasty piece of skin flaking off. Though for the first 30 min it doesnt look terrible..2nd thing that is upsetting is that it is shiny so it like at looks like you have a wet spot on your face. (You’re also not supposed to put concealer over it.)3rd thing that sucks is that each application tip is a 1x use only because it dries so quickly. So if you mess up and have to reapply you cannot just reuse the same applicator tip. They only give you like 7 applicator tips as well. To buy a months supply (30) it’s an additional $18. Not only that but it wastes so much of the product that just gets stuck in there that you cant use.4th thing which is relatively low but just set up the expectations was when I got the package it was completely busted open and the box was crushed because they used padded envelope instead of a box.Just my take, wont be buying again.

I want to leave a very good review for this product, first because it works, and second because the product maker really worked with me to make sure I achieve the best results. When I first tried it, without the primer, this was a complete disaster. I could not get it to stay on the skin. It came rolling off on the texture pad. Super frustrating. With the primer, totally different story. This thing will stick to the skin like my own skin. It is even hard to peel it off. I now put it on in the evening, when I have plenty of time to mess with it, and it sticks through the next day no problem. I use it for my frown lines, and my forehead looks as smooth and realistic as a baby’s. It really is uncanny how well it works. It’s still a bit of a juggling act sometimes, to make sure I smooth it well before I apply the texture pad, so there are no bumps, but I’m a quick study. And the results are worth it. It is a bit expensive, I think, and I wish there was a way to get only a tiny bit of product out at a time. There is a lot of wasted product being squeezed out, because a very tiny bit goes a really long way. All in all, thank you Dermaflage team for working with me to make sure this product meets my expectations. I’m very pleased.

Hard to use and can’t wear make up over it.
Despite the high price and the terrible reviews, my desperation for a solution got the best of me and I bought this product thinking that the only challenge would be proper application.Though I struggled a bit at first I managed to get the hang of it and applied it well, but when I applied make up it looked awful and started to peel apart. I didn’t read that anywhere in the instruction booklet and honestly I feel kind of deceived. I wanted this to work so badly.Learn from me and save your money.

No instructions
Instructions suck. Product comes with multiple tools and instructions say âyou can use it however you wantâ. Tell me what needs to be mixed with what! What are the extra little things that look like they have product used for? How do you make a product like this without giving detailed instructions?! Mine was also missing the purple pad.Edit: Iâve been using this a few days and it works ok. Mine was missing the purple sponge so I used a quartz face roller once it starts drying and it helps flatten it out.

Worth the result!
For 8 weeks I’ve been walking around with this terrible scar on my forehead. I’ve used Mederma, Scarguard, Liguid Band-Aid, silicone sheets, massage, roller, botox, and even nail polish to fill in this hideous depressed scar. I took the plunge and ordered this product and received it today.I had to patiently try it twice to get a good result. I finally ended up with something I felt good about going out in public with. My regret is dabbing a little concealer on it but it’s definitely a much improved area.So costly and you do have to work fast. I used an applicator tip the first try. The tip is now filled and dried with unusable product. The second try, straight from the syringe. Mixed quickly and used the tool to spread a thin layer over the scar area and then quickly applied the pad and didn’t move for exactly 2 minutes. BAM! The scar is almost untraceable. Today is the first day I’ve felt like myself in months!Be sure to use the pad during the product set in period. It’s textured like skin and move quickly.Good luck to you. Darn scars!

Works, but not a miracle
Let me start by saying, yes this product works on hole like scars. The texture is like a thin rubber. If you have acne scars or pit scars this might work well for you, I wouldnât recommend it for wrinkles. I wish I could say this product is a total miracle, it has its draw backs. After a while the edges can start to flake a little bit, making it more obvious. -but for me the flaking still looks better than the scar that I have. Also, it advertises a 1 month supply, but only comes with 10 of the single use applicator tips (so if you actually want to use it every day for a month no this does not come with a month supply). Itâs worth it to me, Iâll probably buy it again, but donât get your hopes up for a miracle. Itâs also very easy to use. The attached photos are of the product by its self with no make up, with make up it blends a little nicer.

I had to return this, this was way too expensive to not work reasonably. It didnât work at all. Followed the instructions to a T, tried varying the application, looking up tips online, and this was nothing more than putting on sticky play-doh. Maybe if it was like $15 I could be like âwell it was a cheap product so itâs gonna take a little more work to make it look niceâ no this was very expensive and behaved like Spirit Halloween spirit gum.This is not an issue of skill either, I am a decent makeup artist in covering up my acne scars, this is a gimmick that maybe some very talented makeup artists with special lighting can pull off.

I was skeptical about this but desperate as I had a tiny mole removed and the procedure went horribly wrong as I now how a huge pit in my nose when it was initially a tiny dot, this left me so self-conscious. This product Dermaflage I bought in the colour Deep is amazing. It is waterproof, not tacky, blends into my skin, you cannot tell it is there, the picture does not do it justice. Initially I did think it was a bit pricey but for the amount I was spending on makeup which was not as effective this was well worth it and you only need the product afterwards which is half the price rather than the whole kit, a tip I would say is to buy the primer. If you don’t like to wear make up all the time I highly reccomend this! (Above is 2 pics before product use and 2 after).
