Freakin’ Lifesaver!!! For cosmetic face treatments!!!
Seriously!!! I had what looked like a black eye in my left eye from under-eye injections and this is the BEST stuff to cover the bruising. Really!!! I tried all types of concealers from a bunch of different brands and NOTHING works like Dermablend!!! Trust me!!! After trying many others, this is the easiest and does the job so easily. NO other brand covers like Dermablend!!! Don’t waste your money trying others because I’ve already done it for you, for the past few years; that’s a lot of money I wasted because I was trying cheaper solutions but ended up paying more because nothing works like this. Spend the money and get real coverage that actually works. I went to the doctor’s office, two weeks later, for follow up appointment and they couldn’t even tell!!! I had to take it off, right then and there so they could see how it actually looked. Of course, I took the dermablend with me in my purse and reapplied it in their bathroom after the appointment so that I could confidently go out in public without embarassment. Yes, this is the best and I highly recommend it! My tip: if you have literally ver dark purple/blue bruising, apply a first layer, (I did it over Olay vitamin c Peptide moisturizer, after the moisturizer dried), then let the first layer “dry” for about 5-10 min to “set”, then you can apply a dab of setting powder, then apply a second layer or even third layer, and this stuff really works. Sometimes, I used a setting powder, sometimes I didn’t so I’m not sure you need the setting powder. I suppose the setting powder helps to set the first layer faster, but after the first layer of setting powder, I didn’t use it again, I just kept layering on the dermablend because I didn’t want a cakey look. But sometimes I would just keep layering dermablend; it seriously works wonders, best stuff ever!!!! I can’t emphasize this enough; totally worth the price.

LEGIT PIGMENT & amazing coverage
I’m a sunless tanner and it’s been a true struggle to find a legit full coverage foundation to ensure my face and hands match my body (due to hand washing and exfoliation) and doesn’t end up looking splotchy as the day goes by – until now! I found Dermablend to be the real deal – It is highly pigmented as it was originally formulated for folks with vitiligo in mind. This cream has true ability to provide absolute and undeniable full coverage, is a fantastic bang for buck spent, comes in variety of shade options, seamlessly blends & last but not least, has legit longevity. All of the boxes were checked for me. Dermablend products are my new ride or die! COLLAGE: pics show Dermablend Cover Creme in shade 60N (cafe brown). Comes with a little scraper tool. Hand pics show the blend of coverage from full to sheer as needed. PIGMENTATION: A little goes a long way, even if using for full coverage. I used half the amount shown on the scraper and spread it for coverage on the entire front of my hand. BLENDING: Blending is a dream, likely due this being a cream. As shown in pics, the shade is significantly darker than my hand but I was able to blend it in to my hand and it covered all uneven tones in my tan skin seamlessly by just spreading it in circular motions using my fingers. LONGEVITY: This alone will stay on my normal skin from morning until night when I remove my makeup. It not only stays in place but looks exactly as good in the pm as it does in the am. INGREDIENTS: The label mentions it is free of Parabens, Phthalates, Triclosan, Sodium lauryl sulfate (sls). I am still gaining a proper understanding of ingredient listings so I included a picture of the ingredient list in case it would help in the interim. I will include my thoughts from the ingredient list on this and other reviews once I am more knowledgeable & can properly provide educated feedback in that regard. OVERALL: I loved this so much that I also purchased several other Dermablend products including primer, liquid foundation, loose powder, and setting spray. I anticipate using this cream as my regular foundation when I’m on top of my sunless tanning, as a contour when I’m not as dark toned (being lazy with self-tan regime), to even out patchy skin on neck, arms, hands. I highly recommend this product and will WITHOUT doubt be purchasing more when I run out in the future.

Not a good match/ bring back medium beige
Disappointed is an understatement. When I tried to reorder, I saw that my shade that I have used for the past 30 years has been discontinued (medium beige / 2 1/2) and thr company was suggesting two other beige colors that might work as alternatives, I bought both. Surely one of them would be a good option, right? Wrong. This one is drab with no warmth to it at all & it’stoo light & makes me look like I am sick.. The other option is too warm a shade & makes me look flushed & pink. I hate them both & tossed in the trash. Medium Beige or 2 1/2 as it was originally called was a perfect match for my complection, and that’swhy I was a repeat customerfor 30 years. Now there are no satisfactory alternatives. Very very very disappointed in their decision to discontinue Medium Beige. I will look elsewhere.
