Gets really hot!
Some how I missed the fact that this gets up to 450 degrees. I bought it to curl my fine baby hairs that frame my face. When I unboxed it I saw the temps and worried about the high temps. First time I used it, I thought I totally fried my hair!!!!! Now if I use it, I heat it up a couple minutes and shut it off, wait a minute for it to cool down and then curl that portion of my hair. I think thatâs way too hot for that fine hair around my face!!! The rest of my hair is thick but the face framing part is thinner and lighter colored.
