Skin & Makeup Changer!
This is the best primer I’ve ever used, and I’ve used quite a few different types with a lotion and a satin feel but my makeup felt like it just slid off and didn’t stay put all day. This primer feels weird at first, it is a sticky clear gel-like primer but your makeup will go on extremely smooth and stay put all day. Your face will also feel softer than it has before (mine does at least). I don’t recommend wearing the primer alone, as your face will feel tacky and look shiny because of the consistency, but under foundation or CC cream, it’s amazing. I can honestly say I’ll never go back to a non-gel primer again and hope they keep making this product. Again, the texture feels very strange at first, but it is a total skin and makeup changer. If you have fine lines and often find your makeup just settling into them making your fine lines look more pronounced, this will reduce that by at least 90%.

Really disappointing
I use and love other Cover FX products (setting spray and setting powder, and a powder foundation). This primer was recommended as good for “mature skin.” After multiple attempts to use this primer under different foundations, though — it’s not good for mature skin. At all. Tried it under a light foundation — the foundation wouldn’t apply, wouldn’t stay in place. Tried it under a more substantial foundation — same thing. Tried it under a powder-to-cream foundation — the foundation clumped up all over my face. Had to clean my face and start over. I use these foundations all the time with other primers (LaBase and Smashbox, e.g.) and have uniformly good results. So my conclusion: The problem is this primer.

Not for me, rubs off
I was hoping this primer would be good after reading the reviews since Iâm trying to look for a more affordable alternative to il makiageâs primer. Unfortunately itâs not for me. It does have this dewy tacky texture as most have mentioned. It applies nicely and smoothly but it starts to rub off when Iâm applying my foundation, and I noticed some patching areas where my foundation did not apply nicely. Iâve had to wipe my whole face to get ride of the primer and use my other primer instead. Will not buy again 🙁

Makes Concealer Stay All Day & Night
I learned about this product while watching YouTube video of a great way to cover under eye dark circles. I bought this product and was pleasantly surprised to find itâs a little âtackyâ so any concealer I use sticks & stays right where I put it. I use it on any area of my face that needs some help using a concealer.

BEST primer to make your foundation last!
I always use this primer for special events, and my makeup looks flawless! Itâs seriously the best long wearing primer Iâve ever tried and I never hear anyone give it the hype it deserves⦠I always keep a backup because I refuse to be without it! Just pat it on and let it sit for 5 minutes or so before applying your foundation. Once itâs tacky, apply your foundation and set with powder⦠add setting spray and youâre good to go for hours and hours!

Sadly this did not make a difference in makeup rubbing off.
I was hesitant to spend so much money on a primer, but I decided to give it a shot after watching a video review on YouTube boasting that it will keep your makeup from rubbing off, and rub off is the primary reason I don’t wear makeup. I followed the directions on the bottle, but I saw no difference in the makeups adherence to my face and rub off than I saw with the average eight to ten dollar primer from the store ð. I wasted a pretty penny on this, so I’ll use it (whenever i do wear makeup) but im disappointed ð.
