Great & lightweight
I bought this for a trip to Greece & Turkey. The fabric feels great and packed up small so it didn’t take much space in my carry-on. It is pretty versatile too as you can use for a scarf, a shawl style wrap, or a sarong style wrap. Also love that fabric is UFP for sun protection. Great purchase & I was happy to have it on my trip.

High quality
I liked the first shawl so much that I bought a second one. The first, in bright pink, was for a trip to the beach. It worked great as a warm wrap on the plane, as a light blanket, as a beach towel, and cool sun protection. Sand shook right off of it, and it dried quickly. This navy shawl was a topper for a sleeveless dress at a wedding. It was dressy and a warm wrap in the overly air conditioned reception hall. Both were lightweight pieces to put in my personal bag on the plane and wrinkles shook right out. The shawl does it all!

Life Changing
I know, sounds dramatic, but for folks with BRP that have to avoid the sun (even though you love being out in it) this a game changer. This is my second purchase of a Coolibar UPF 50+ Sanibel Everyday Beach Shawl and it was the first thing I thought of for my husband to get me again for Christmas. Itâs just that important in my daily life. SPF aside, the fabric feels so good, does irritate my sensitive skin, drapes beautifully without making you hot (Iâm also a menopausal mess with hot flashes), is breathable and, maybe most important, the fabric always feels cool to the touch. I canât say how many times this has taken the edge off of symptoms for me until Iâve been able to properly ice my arms. I recommend them often and have even shared them with my dermatologist in case it helps others. Iâm quite thankful for stumbling onto this back when I was desperate to find something to allow me to easily enjoy activities in the sun again, even to be able to ride comfortably in a car on a sunny day.

Pretty comfortable!
I used this shawl all around Disney World. It was great in the parks to keep the sun off my neck and shoulders while standing in lines. I could use it to mop up sweat, give myself cover, have a little cushion to sit on, or just pack it away when I didn’t need it. It folds up pretty small despite how large it is. It’s pretty soft and was comfortable to wear. It does get a bit wrinkly but wasn’t super noticeable.It’s not only great in the heat! It was really nice going from the heat outside to indoors with the air conditioning. I would get cold and could take out this shawl to cover up my arms or legs. It was also nice when I had to work because I could wear a tank top dress outside in the heat and then cover up to look more professional when needed.

Useful and beautiful
Soft, sturdy, dries fast, perfect size. It is long enough to double knot it to wear as a skirt or shawl. I wore it to hide my sunburn and was told I looked glamorous. Overall it was useful and I received many compliments about the look. If i lose it then I will buy it again!

Great – No Sunburns!
Bought two for our trip to Sint Maarten and did not sustain any sunburns. Light to pack, quick to dry and stretchy to use as a sorong.I wish I had a picture but I also used it as a âtentâ at a beach that had little shade. Yes! I tie two of the ends to the base of a lounger chair and the other two to branches of the palm trees. I am concerned and careful as to not sustain UV damage and thus product delivered!Highly recommend – travel light and save your skin!

Versatile sun protection and more.
I bought this Coolibar sun shawl for a Florida vacation, primarily as sun protection – I am light-skinned and freckled, have photosensitivity from a medical condition and more photosensitivity from medication – but I ended up using it as much more. I first used it as a blanket on the airplane, then as cover for my legs sitting out on the sun porch and at the pool. In the evening it was a warm and stylish wrap. It folds pretty compactly so I could fit it in my bag and take it out whenever needed. It is machine wash and dry and washes well. The fabric is sufficiently heavy to block the sun, but it doesn’t feel particularly hot. Given its size, quality and versatility, I thought the price was reasonable. I look forward to using it regularly when the weather gets warm here in the Northeast. Highly recommended.

Perfect for traveling, versatile
I love this scarf! It was a perfect accessory to traveling Italy through the hot days. I never burned despite being out in the sun, in Rome, on 100 degree sunny days. It can also be used as a small blanket on the plane to keep you warm. Paris was cooler and it definitely helped keep me warm. The color fit all my outfits and was extremely versatile. The scarf itself is super soft and comfortable. I washed and dried it like normal and it retained it’s length, shape, and softness. I ordered the grey but plan on getting the dark taupe heather to add to my collection.
