I do like this a lot! I keep it on my vanity to protect the wood from my flat-iron, and it’s definitely a must-have for protecting your surfaces from hot tools. The wood of the vanity underneath doesn’t get hot, and sometimes I heat my iron up to 450 degrees! My only gripe with this is that it gets dirty very quickly. It just seems to attract dust and lint or something in the air and no matter if I clean it every day with a damp cloth, it gets dirty again very quickly. Like, I feel the need to clean it every time I see it. But, protecting my vanity and not starting a fire are more important than a little dirt so I keep it 🙂

I got this to prevent my tools from sliding on the counter. Iâm very quick, so I wanna set an item down and not have to worry if itâs gonna roll or slide. Mat stays in place, does stick some hair, so be sure to still be properly sanitizing the mat.

I bought this heat resistant mat because i’m always curling or straightening my hair and I needed a place to sit down my iron. I was sick of my curling iron constantly moving and I was worried that I would melt or burn something because of it. So I wanted to find a cheap solution and this mat is just the right size, and it works GREAT! I also saw that you can wrap this silicone mat around your curling iron and throw it in any bag if you are traveling and in a rush so thats a plus to! Great for a heat resistant mat and great value for the cost.Not super easy to clean due to the material and it takes quite a bit of time to return to being flat because of how it’s shipped. I would buy again though if needed.

It is a small heat resistant mat. It’s probably smaller than you were thinking. Measure it if you need it for a specific space. I bought this to put on top of my toaster oven as I store a couple of things on it (it does not cover the whole toaster oven). No issues so far, it has not melted. I plan to buy another one for my bathroom for my hot styling tools. I personally do not like the diamond decals but apparently it helps items from not sliding off. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

Bought this because I’ve been known to forget my hair straightener on and accidentally burn multiple dressers and counter tops. Been using it for weeks now and its great, gets the job done. You can leave a hot tool on it for a long time and barely any heat transfers through (definitely not enough to burn the surface).

For the price, this station mat is amazing. I looked for a heat resistant mat in stores everywhere around my area but none of the stores had it. So, when I saw it online I bought it right away, and I use this mat every time I use any hot tools. The only issue I have with this is that, it gets dirty very easily, so after every use I quickly put it in a dust/dirt free area to protect it.

Works well. I use hair tools that heat up to 400 and this pad protects the furniture underneath. It does collect dust easily but can be cleaned. The bumps help to keep things from rolling around.
