Best curler for newbies or those who struggle to do their own hair
So easy to use. Quick. Comfortable to hold. Small sections are needed. The device does all of the work and then tells you when it’s done curling. I love that it doesn’t tangle up in your hair. If it thinks it’s going to it will stop and alert you to readjust. I managed to do 6 bridesmaids hair in 3 hours with the help of this curlier.

Easy and effective – simply the best!
This curler is amazing. I’ve had it for about a year now, and it was easy to use from day one. I’ve never been successful at curling my hair in the past, and I’ve tried a lot of different tools. This beats them all, and my curls last for several days without much maintenance. I separate my hair into four or six sections, and each section takes about five minutes, so 20-30 minutes total for a style that lasts 3+ days. Buy it, you won’t regret it!

Short version: I LOVE this CHI curler! I’m selling the Dyson.Long version: I have Dyson Airwrap but never really liked it. It takes a long time to use, somehow some wispy hairs never make it properly around the barrel, and the barrel switching circus and timing are cumbersome. The hairdryer attachment somehow seems to make my fine hair look greasy fast, and I don’t have use for any of the other attachments. But I spent crazy money on it so I really tried to like it, but mostly I just ended up skipping any curling.I recently decided to try curling again, so I bought this and the T3 hot roller set. The hot rollers burn my scalp but produce lovely voluminous waves and fullness at the root, so I’m going to keep them and use them for special occasions. But this CHI changed my daily hair game! I have very fine, shoulder length hair that has slight wave/loose curl naturally, especially in wet weather. The ends are damaged so they tend to hang straight, but they look much better and healthier with a little wave. I can now give my lenths loose wave/curl in 5 minutes flat! I hated switching the Dyson barrels, the whole switch operation and figuring out which barrel to use on which side was tedious. This device is so easy, I just place the curler in my hair and make sure the section I want to curl is placed in the “fork”, and press the button that is further back/closer to the back of my head. The buttons are slightly raised and placed symmetrically, so I can press the correct button without even looking. It’s easy and intuitive and blows the Dyson barrel circus out of the water.I also love the timer! I hated having to count in my head with the Dyson, trying to guess how much time has elapsed. I have the timer set at 15 seconds. I love the simple protocol. Place wand, press button, see hair disappear into the device, wait for the beep, release. No fiddling or counting, I’m free to daydream at the same time.Since my hair is very fine, I use the lowest temperature setting (180F) for the shortest time (15 seconds). It still gives me clear, well defined curls that are too tight for my liking, so I let them relax to have the style I like. I haven’t tried it but I’m sure I could preserve the tight curls by using more styling products, pinning the curl up for a while, using hairspray etc. if I wanted to.If anything, the curl is almost too tight for my taste, so I ordered the 1.25 barrel too. I’m so excited to have beautiful hair every day now!

I’m old and this new curling iron is so easy to use
I grew up with the old style curling irons and aqua net. This iron looks insane, but it’s actually easier to use than the old style where you have to use your thumb. Just hold it up to your head at the scalp, put some combed hair in (about 1 inch worth) and that’s it. It makes a great curl. Use some volumizer and root lift and it is a game changer! I can’t do much with my bangs (they are right below my eye level) they do not catch in the spinner so I might have to use one curler or something else, that’s the only negative to this product. My hair does get tangled in it but it’s so easy to get untangled. Just gently pull down and it comes right out. Hit the power button to reset it and your good again. I shouldve bought this before now!

Little bit of practice
I love this product so far. Was little bit scared to use it, but sobfar good. I have very fine hair and have never been able to master curling my hair. But I just tried it out and it is magical. Took me couple of tries, since my hair is very thin I put it on low setting, I got curls in mid strands but not to the ends, I assume it’s because the setting is low. But I redid the bottom part and got the curls and they look good. I don’t have to wonder how long to keep the curling iron in, it will let me know and so far the curls hold. With little bit of hair spray they will last, and no guessing work. Love this.

Heats up really f fast
This is a definite YES for me!! I have an old model not by CHI, but the old one really tangles the hair up if I didn’t use it very carefully. Scared me sometimes because I thought that I would have to cut my hair. But this CHI Spin N Curl is fantastic. I have long, fine hair and if I put the hair in wrong, it just beeps and stops and my hair doesn’t get stuck in it. I hope it lasts a long time! It’s also a lot faster than using a curling iron.

This is simply amazing. I have thin, straight shoulder-length Asian hair that doesn’t hold curls at all (I tried digital perm which was supposed to last between 3 – 6 months but which came undone for me at the end of two months) but with this beauty, heat protection spray and curl spray, I get WONDERFUL curls that still look all crisp and bouncy after two days.There’s definitely a learning curve – at first, I tangled my hair a lot while curling it – but it took me only three uses to get the hang of it. I also want to mention that I bought this as a dupe for Dyson Airwrap but with the amazing result and completely hassle-free use, I don’t think I’ll ever get that $700 bulky styler!I’ve found that the 15s, 370F option works best for my hair. I haven’t noticed any deterioration of my hair quality, but my hair does get a bit dry if I use it on the same sections repeatedly. So, make sure not to use it on hair that’s too damp!

This has got to be the easiest hair curler I have ever used in my entire existence on this planet! I love it. It’s a bit of a learning curve at first, but once you get into the “rhythm”, the results are incredible and it’s so easy and satisfying to use. A word of advice, use a heat protecting spray before curling your hair with it and try the lowest setting first, especially if you have very fine hair. Overall I am very very satisfied with my purchase!
