Can I Give It Six Stars?
We have several CHI products so when I needed a new flat iron, I immediately looked into the CHI brand.I am very impressed with this flat iron. I have been using it for about a month and when first opened and used, no smell or concern. It heats up very quickly and I really like the placement of the buttons on the interior, reducing inadvertently hitting the options and setting yourself back during your styling.This iron is used by two people in my household. One has thinner hair, but a lot of it. One has very thick hair with a slight natural curl. This flat iron works on both beautifully. And somehow, it adds a gorgeous shine when done.As with all my other CHI products, I would not hesitate to buy another or go to CHI first when looking to get a new hair styling tool. I would recommend this product!

Best hair straightener (according to my wife)
Needed a new hair straightener that was quick to heat up. This did that and so much more. We also had previous issues where someone (not naming anyone for my well-being :D) where they would forget to turn off the straightener when we left for a trip of some sort. The auto shutoff feature is invaluable for that. Lastly, we had a long stay in Europe and that fact that this is dualâvoltage is another pro I can’t say enough about.Overall, its easy to recommend this product over any other straightener.

Good flat iron
I have used my old Remington flat iron for 2 years and it died on me. I used my friends CHI on vacation and was impressed by the quality, hers is 5-6 years old. CHI was recommended me to by several friends because of the quality and long lasting use. I love that this flat iron is dual voltage for travel. I ordered the CHI original and CHI G2 To compare, the only difference I noticed is the G2 has an 11 ft cord and the original has a 6.. I prefer the shorter cord. Also the G2 has color coded settings which I donât believe is necessary- itâs just a selling point. Both flat irons heat up fast and work great however I chose to keep the original because it is a ceramic plate which is less damaging to hair over time. The G2 has titanium infused plates which can be drying and damaging to hair. My one complaint would be that I wish it had a lock feature for storage. I did reorder this on target because it was $50 cheaper⦠Overall I am happy with the CHI and looking forward to getting a lot of use out of it!

My wife had CHI unit before that this unit replaced and it works better that the older one!
My wife likes this unit, more than her original one that she had for 10-15 years. This new one has settings for heat where the first one had only one.

Amazing flat iron!
I debated on this purchase for months because I am not one to spend $100.00 on a curling iron! I wanted that salon look that you have for a day or 2 all the time! This flat iron is amazing! I’m so glad I purchased it. I had a $20.00 Target flat iron that worked but my hair was frizzy after a couple hours. The Chi iron keeps it looking great all day long. So glad I finally bit the bullet and spent the money. I’ve only been using it for a month so I can’t speak for long term use. I did see the Chi at Target for $109.00 today, not the Chi3, so I think this price ($100) is very competitive.
