Beware- SHARP spikes!
Product was exactly what I ordered and got here when I needed it. I wasnât expecting the spikes to be so sharp though. They arenât blunt or rounded, they are straight stiff points. I want something thatâs going to be uncomfortable for my cats to walk or step on, but I donât want them impaled. Iâm definitely not comfortable putting this on a surface where they have to jump and land, only on surfaces that theyâd normally step onto.

Itâs now been months and has been working well to prevent from my dog getting on the couch. Very easy to use. Has last awhile now! The size isnât bad!

Cats laugh at this product
This product was attached to the top of a fence. Cats repeatedly walked across it without any pain. Either cats in my neighborhood had a lot tougher pads on their feet or this was misleading advertising.

It does the job, but it’s hard to work with.
I wanted this product to keep cats off my convertible top. CONS: the connection mechanism doesn’t work at all, so I used cable ties. It says it’s flexible, but it broke in half when it bent a little. Also, the points are REALLY sharp, so you wouldn’t want your cat to jump on it before he could see it. It won’t lay flat without being tied down. PROS: With enough alterations, it keeps the cats off the convertible top.

A cat family must!
My cats (especially my littliest) love to jump on ANYTHING they can and I absolutely can not stand it. I keep these on areas of my house where I’d rather not have them and they definitely help a lot. Super easy to use and very effective. Great value! Durable and lightweight.

Good idea but not a good product
Great idea and it works. But the item lasted about 3 weeks and started breaking. I now have 5 individual pieces that I am still trying to use, but not very happy with this! Should have returned it.

Does an excellent job?
Product works exactly as itâs designed to do and keeps my cat out of areas that I want it to stay out of. Before I used it, I unrolled it, placed it outside in the sun and anchored down each of the sides for about 2 days, so it would flatten out. Once I brought it inside, I had to watch my cat because she did jump into the middle of it and couldnât figure out how to get back out so I had to pick her up, and bring her back to safety. Then she knew not to get onto the spike mat from then on. Iâm going to buy more because I absolutely love this product.
