Excellent option for side sleepers
My old pillow was chopped foam and it really couldnât be washed. I was looking for a pillow that would meet my sleep style and bought this one. Itâs a great improvement. It has enough support for my neck but not so much as to create a weird sleeping angle. I love the construction of this pillow as it allows me to clean the parts that need it. Itâs very comfortable.I did find that the loft of this pillow made it hard to use my standard pillow cases. I searched for âfatâ pillow cases and found these work really well with this pillow. My standard cases were compressing the pillow too much while the roomier ones allow the pillow to fully expand.Really glad I bought this, itâs a solid value.

I’m fortunate enough to be an amazon vine member. That being said, i RARELY leave reviews for non vine products. But I hope this review will help someone.Backstory:I had a harder foam pillow. It pretty much didnt compress much. It worked fine, but after a year or more, i kind of wanted something new. I received a cheapo normal pillow for xmas. It was serta too. But like all cheap pillows, at first, it was great, firm but super fluffy. Then it compressed to less than half its size. and OH MAN. Did it kill my neck. I had serious pain.Queue my search for a pillow. I started searching high and low, reading a ton of reviews. Turns out depending on whether you are a back, side, or stomach sleeper, you need a different pillow. and everyone is different. The search got ridiculous.In the end i said f’ it and went with this pillow. The reviews are great, so i took a shot.This pillow has an inner pillow and an outer. After taking out of the box, it of course fluffs up pretty intensely. First few nights, its like sleeping on a cloud. For 2 months, the pillow held the fluff. I was impressed.Around the 2 month mark, i started getting some shoulder/neck pain. The pillow started to lose its fluff despite me trying to fluff it up. When this happens, give it a wash. As per the instructions, I separated each pillow, inner and outer. Zipped outer. Did light detergent, delicate cycle. Dried in a delicate cycle as well.And now the pillow is like new and then some! Super fluffy.I’ll report back if things change, but overall this is a great pillow. It saved my neck, and I hope it saves yours too.

First and foremost this is one of the most comfortable pillows Iâve ever used. Idk if itâs primarily due to its filling material, bc of the pillow within a pillow design, or all of its features working together, but it delivers great support while lying on my back or on my side, while still being amazingly comfortable. If you like very thick and/or firm pillows or very thin and/or super soft pillows then this is almost certainly not the pillow for you, but if you like a comfortably soft yet supportive pillow, this pillow strikes a great balance. I just got my pillow a couple days ago, and so havenât seen how it will hold up to repeated washing cycles and normal use, but the fact that it has an outer sleeve that zips off means it will be a lot easier to wash than any of my previous pillows. Hopefully the fill material in the outer sleeve wonât bunch up during washing, but so much thought was clearly put into the design of this pillow that i have to believe they accounted for this and the sleeve will be fine even after many wash cycles (fingers crossed anyway). One example of their attention to detail is in the zipper on the outer sleeve: itâs a high quality metal zipper pull and mechanism that has had all of its edges and corners chamfered to prevent any poking or catching. Plus itâs been coated in what feels like a polymer paint to give it a smooth finish and prevent any noise. The only thing keeping this pillow from being perfect is that the fabric is a little noisy while my head is moving around trying to find the perfect position, at least for now while itâs brand new anyway (the pillow, not my head). Thatâs very common with cotton fabric when itâs new though, so i feel confident that it will quiet down considerably after a couple of washes. I have unusually acute hearing, so most people probably wouldnât be bothered by the sound it makes even if it doesnât quiet down after washing. For now i feel it deserves top marks, so Iâm giving it 5 stars. Iâll see how it holds up over time though. Hopefully its quality endures, but if it doesnât Iâll update my review to reflect that.

Nice, fluffy and firm. Everything they advertise it as. I think itâs great if you are a side sleeper.As a back sleeper, I woke up with headaches the first few nights and had to swap back to a different pillow. It was too just too high for me.

Pillows are important
It sounds silly, but I never realized how important a good pillow is for sleep quality. I tried so many lower tier pillows that I figured there wasn’t much of a difference between pillows. This is the only pillow I’ve used that genuinely feels perfect. The double layer design is great. You get the soft cloud feeling from the outer layer, but actually get support and bounce back from the inner layer.However when I ordered this pillow, the first one I received was not the same quality. It felt very airy and didn’t provide the same support. Amazon sent me a replacement and I sent back the faulty one. So no problem there, but do be aware they aren’t 100% all perfect. I made sure to wash and dry it first, that seems to plump the pillow up to the full potential. But overall, I’d definitely recommend this. This is the first pillow I’ve fallen in love with.

Flattens over time
I initially really liked the Casper pillow however over time have noticed that it flattens over time despite throwing it in the wash and fluffing it. I think that it has caused some neck pain. Great pillow for guest but would not recommend for everyday use
