AMAZING!
I have to give myself a pretty painful injection each week for lupus. The needle is large, the medication is very thick and the auto injector takes at least 20 seconds to get all the medication administered. Needless to say when you have a big needle in your leg pushing in burning liquid twenty seconds feels LONG. Buzzy and the ice pack before makes the shot MUCH less painful. I can not suggest him enough!!!

The best invention ever!
This is a game changer for shots for my son. Itâs super easy to use and worked incredibly well for injection pain but doesnât do much for pain associated with the medicine itself, like stinging. It worked so well the doctors office wanted to order one to use with other babies. Would 1,000% recommend!!

Great for administering injections!
I bought this to help ease anxiety in my patients when administering injections. The product came with 2 ice packs and Velcro strap. The batteries were already installed. The ice packs were really simple to slide onto the ladybug with the stretchy band that was attached. Overall, the product works well, however, the Velcro strap was not big enough to fit around some of my older children. In that case, I just had them hold the vibrating ladybug themselves. The overall effectiveness of the product was pretty good. Some of the really young kids (1-2 yrs) it didnât phase them as they were already freaking out before shots were administered. The older kids 11yrs + gave me pretty good feedback stating that they could still âfeelâ it but didnât âhurtâ. Overall, I would recommend this product.

So helpful, but has a small design flaw / reduces pain comparably to just ice
I’m an adult with a fear of needles. I recently wanted to get a 3-dose vaccine. 1st dose (no buzzy): really miserable pain wise, also lots of fear around experiencing the full scope of pain (nothing to help it)2nd dose (with buzzy): went a lot better and hurt a lot less. Buzzy felt like a kind of plan I had for managing the pain from the shot, which helped me do better with fear. Ice and vibration really help, but some issues include: (1) transporting tiny frozen wings to the doctor’s office requires an insulated lunch bag filled with surround ice, and even then there’s a decent risk of it all melting and you having a luke warm gel pack rather than a properly iced one, by the time you get the shot; (2) the larger (hard plastic) buzzy I ordered doesn’t work with its strap, meaning the instructions claim you can attach it to the strap and then wear it, but the device has zero places to attach said strap by, meaning you’re going to DIY it and have it be unreliably tightened around your arm AND the buzzy together. In my case, the nurse held it, which made me more nervous than when I don’t interact with the nurse prior to a shot, get to a calm headspace and try to cope with the idea of getting the shot. Buzzy complications were definitely a stressor and amplified the anticipation fear.3rd dose (no buzzy): I was gung-ho on taking buzzy again with me, but due to having to store it in such a complicated way, I ended up forgetting to bring it. This led to asking the nurse for an ice packet, in hopes it would help at least a fragment as much as buzzy helped. My partner held ice in place, which meant less interaction with the nurse than if she held it (like with buzzy), also less chance of seeing the needle if I had to turn to hold it. Honestly, this was the best scenario for me. It might be worth just asking for some good old ice from nurses who don’t think of it first.Overall, I’d buy buzzy again. I think it’s a wonderful device trying to help people like me and plenty of kids. It works just fine and I’m sure some people find it better than just an ice packet. Everyone has different sensitivity levels. I’d also bring it back to a similar appointment, just in case. Oh, and the softer buzzy might not have the strap design flaw, so I’d recommend that one over the hard shell buzzy, regardless of the type of shot you’re worried about.

Excellent product
This little device allows my kids to refocus their energy and pain sensors to the ice and buzzing versus the sharp sensation of an immunization. Brilliant.

Every medical office should have one of these.
If you would hand me this item and say this magical device will take all the fear out of needles from anyone that dislikes them, I would have laughed in your face and walked away treating it like a cheap gimmick.I am here to tell you that this device IS MAGIC and so WONDERFULLY simple that it shocks me most medical places do not know anything about it. My story begins with my daughter suffering from conditions that require frequent hospital visits and one of those was to Penn State Medical hospital in Hershey, PA. This was the first time I EVER ran across this wonderful device as a phlebotomist for the pediatric intensive care unit had one to help give IVs to children. I could not believe how calm this item made my daughter and she even told me she barely felt anything despite watching them insert the needle. Later that same trip they attempted to run a new IV line and the nurse on call did not have one well this wound up with them attempting to get a good stick with her tiny veins collapsing resulting in multiple sticks to where my 5 year daughter(at the time) suddenly gained the strength of 20 men and nurses couldnt even hold her still. My wife looked like she was about to punch the nurse because our daughter was crying so badly then the lady had the nerve to yell at my daughter for behaving like her age. I actually escorted the nurse out and asked her to never come in the room again.Long story short they raced around to find this Buzzy bee device and with its aid they stuck my daughter 3 times to get a good line and she did not flinch 1 time with it in use. Every place I go I always ask for this device because the difference it makes is truly amazing. Few months ago my daughter was at St. Joseph hospital and they had one which again when they stuck her for a blood draw she did not even flinch with buzzy bee on. I decided to buy one to keep on hand now because she had an IV put in for dental work and they never heard of it before. The combination of my phone using a massager app and doctor doing a quick freeze spray made it easy but NEVER again will I leave home without this device for her.

This device is life changing for those with a fear of needles. My 10 year old son who unfortunately needs blood tests quite often, is usually terrible at appointments. We just used Buzzy for the first time and he didn’t feel a thing! No tears, no screaming. Totally calm and was actually laughing because he couldn’t believe it was over and he didn’t even know it was happening. Couldn’t recommend more!!

Ayuda bastante para niños que le temen a las inyecciones o que tienen tratamientos!

This has really helped us during injection time for my son. We have tried everything, cold packs, hot packs, therapy, music etc. but my son still felt pain and had high anxiety. Then a play therapist recommended this. I thought it was expensive but I was desperate. We used it on a particular painful injection and my son scaled it at 1 out of 10 instead of the usual 10 out of 10. Best money Iâve spent in a long time and definitely worth it.
