I’ve used the scrub to exfoliate my face in my morning shower. The beads/crystals give the gel a gritty feel, which is what I want, and I like the fresh, minty smell of it. My only minor complaints would be it leaves somewhat of a greasy feel afterwards, which may be a good thing for my skin. The other is personal — I’d rather have it in a squeeze bottle vs. fumbling with a slippery jar in a shower with no shelving.

I previously had been an avid user of Brickell Products but due to some financial circumstances, I had to switch to generic products for some time. Recently getting back to Brickell, the Renewing Facial Scrub is by far my favorite from their line. The scrub itself is gentle but effective, and even with only about a week of use, I’ve noticed a huge difference in my complexion, reduction of blemishes, and overall softness of my skin. Brickell products are most certainly of premium quality and well worth the price. I’d also strongly recommend their Daily Essential Face Moisturizer and their Polishing Body Scrub. I did have a good experience previously with their Purifying Charcoal Face Mask, which I am certainly considering to purchase again, but this Renewing Face Scrub is by far an essential in their line of products.
