Arrived the next day. I bought one from eBay. It appeared to be the real thing but when I used it, it was pulling whiskers. Ouch. This one is the real deal. Nice and shiny and shaves real smoothly.

I purchased this item probably a year ago and I am very pleased. 1) I didnât realize I could purchase replacement blades and 2) I would never have purchased it if I hadnât accidentally dropped and stepped on and broke the original blade. They came quick but looked slightly different, Crome instead of black line the original.Now after about a year of daily use itâs going strong. I could swear itâs been better than the original but no way to measure that. Anyway, you cannot go wrong with these blades.

Better than the original head
The original head had plastic housing and developed a crack after more than a year. I should confess that I dropped it on the ground couple of times. The replacement (this item) came in Braun packaging with made in Germany mark. It has a metal housing and I expect it not to develop a crack like the original one. It fits perfectly and shaves smoothly as I expected. I found a number of duplicate heads on Amazon and other sites for half the price. 4 star because this head is too expensive. On the plus side Amazon had early morning delivery in time for me.

These are so expensive, but it’s totally worth it. I shave my bald head every day and I only have to buy one of these replacement foils every 12 months. I’ve been using this razor for 5 years. It’s the only way to go, actually.

I was overdue for a new replacement head. Finally broke down to buy the product and I am shocked to see the degree of improvement with the new head. Shaved in 30% less time and much smoother. Its clearly worth the price and I am highly recommending this product. Do not fall for less expensive scams for “look alike” products. They are knock offs and they don’t work!
