Great product for you body health monitoring at a great price!
We ordered the Bodypedia Professional Body Composition Analyzer Scale based on a friendâs recommendation. Itâs ability to measure and store not only weight, but also BMI, muscle mass, water and mineral body content provides a great to monitor the rseluts of our excercise and dieting. It also Llows us to check and store sata for both of us so we can review and compare data. Easy to use and very well built. The blue-tooth connectivity makes it super easy and keeps our data handy on our iphones.

Wow-The scale I never knew I wanted
This scale is incredible. I was so used to using my regular dumb scale and my smart watch to keep track of body composition and weight. This scale however is a night and day difference in comparison. It not only helps track data points, the data you gain is incredible. Not only does it calculate what your smart watch will do (BMI, Fat/Muscle weight etc) it goes to the mineral content, protein content, water content. IT TELLS YOU YOUR BODY DIAMETER SIZES…arms, waist..legs…and so far has been pretty accurate. All of this is tracked on your app. If you are fit conscious, this will help you determine if you are favoring one side over the other, if you need more water intake, or even if you need to hit cardio more than weights…lower the carbs or up the protein. I’ve been fascinated with this ever since I purchased it. By the way, each person can download the app and use the scale independently (ie, your spouse will not see that you fell off the wagon again). This scale is amazing and at a great price in comparison to others. one note: make sure your hands are not dry. Dry hands/feet will not conduct electricity through the handles.

Unreliable â Bluetooth fails to connect.
When this scale works, it provides valuable information about your body composition. The key here is, âwhen it works!â!First off, the app is totally unreliable. Over half the time, it fails to connect to the scale. I have tried every trick in the book, including rebooting my phone, deleting and rescanning the Bluetooth entry, and uninstalling/reinstalling the Bodypedia app from scratch. All to no avail. Sometimes it works, and other times it does not.I also found that when it does work, and my rather petite wife tries to use it, it measures her weight accurately but fails to complete the body composition measurements. It takes her several attempts to get a reading, and often she just gives up out of frustration.I should also note that I am using a Samsung Android phone. After doing a rather extensive Google search, looking for a solution to the reliability issues I have experienced, it seems that the app may operate more reliably on an Apple phone. Iâm not sure if this is the case, but itâs worth considering.I have found customer service to be less than helpful. You have an option of email, or a chat bot. In both cases, it took them over a day to respond and the answers were not helpful.

Great Scale for Tracking Progress
Iâve been using this scale for a while now and I honestly love it. Itâs super easy to set up and the app gives a ton of helpful info, not just weight. I like being able to track my body fat and muscle changes over time, itâs really helped me stay motivated. Plus, it looks nice and feels really well made. Definitely a great buy!

Informative and easy to use and understand
I decided to buy this on the advice of an online fitness coach I have followed for quite some time. He was entirely correct – the scales work flawlessly, easily connect to the app and provide entirely too much information on my body status. Results are presented clearly with full explanations in an easy to follow format. Everything worked perfectly right out of the box, so setup was minimal. I especially like the multipoint readings – I’m no scientist, but that would seem to provide more in-depth information. The purchase experience was completely seamless – I ordered, it arrived. Exactly as you’d hope for. Seems to be a great company.

Prefromance vs promise is lacking
The scale itself feels very solid and well made. Accurate wheight reading, but that is expected, this isn’t about a kitchen scale, this is about a scale that costs over 100 dollars for specific functions. Promised 43 “bio data”? Gives 12 results with little to no information on what they derived from. Results are almost (within 1% difference) the exact same for fat content, skeletal muscle, visceral fat as a scale I bought 2 years ago for $40. If your that pressed about accuracy, go to a clinic that is specialized and has a reputation to uphold. Almost accurate readings for 12/43 promoted data points, same as a 2 year old cheaper scale I already have

great scale; app could be improved
The scale looks great. It provides a lot of information. The measurements are not super precise: when you measure two days in a row, right after you wake up and go to the bathroom, and there’s no big difference in your diet/activities, it sometimes says you gained/lost almost 1kg of fat/muscles overnight. However, the measurements do seem reliable: after a few months of diet and exercise, my fat graph is going down and my muscle graph is going up.The app could be improved — it sometimes just won’t start or won’t connect to the scale, and you have to close and restart the app for it to work.Besides bugs, here are some ways the app could be improved:1) Provide a simple graph where weight, muscle, and fat are shown together (like the one Inbody provides) so that you can assess the shape of the graph (C as a bad shape and D as a great shape, etc).2) In the monthly chart, adjust the y-axis scale so that you can actually see the change. Right now, the y-axis is from 0 to just above my highest weight/PBF/SMM. Because of the big range, I can hardly see the trends with my eyes. Instead of 0, it should be a number just below my lowest weight/PBF/SMM.3) Again in the monthly chart, I’d prefer Body Fat Mass in kg/lb instead of PBF in % because BPF is not independent of muscle mass.
