My new daily sunscreen
I have lupus so I need to wear sunscreen pretty much every day. This is my first time using mineral sunscreen, but I read that they have less harsh chemicals so I decided to give it a go. It seemed pricy for the amount of fl ounces, but a little goes a long way and I think this will last a couple months of daily applications. I need about a half dollar amount to cover my face, neck, and my arms.It does take time to rub it all in. It’s a little heavy when it first goes on, but once your skin absorbs it you don’t even notice it’s there. If anything, it dries soft and smooth. It has no smell. I haven’t noticed it giving me any skin problems yet.

Took this on a trip to Bora Bora where the UV rays are NO JOKE. Works really well and doesnât leave much of a white smear like many others do. You do need to reapply (like any sunscreen) and when I did keep up the reapplication, it worked so well! Also, the color-changing-cap was fascinating – it turned bright purple when put in the direct sun, and stayed light purple in the shade – that tells you there are UV rays even in the shade! I bought this in Feb 2025 and got the old packaging so I have no idea if the new packaging still has this cap technology but it was as helpful as the sunscreen itself!

Seemed to protect my son in the pool and liked that the bottle would turn pink if it was left out in the sun and heat to long. Worked great as advertised and would buy more if needed.

It took me years to finally like a mineral sumscreem
It took me soooooo many years to find a mineral sunscreen that I could confidently wear without crazy white cast before I started using this one! Iâm allergic to chemical sunscreen I have no choice and have gone many days in the sun without bc I hate white cast so much and Iâd rather just sit in the shade or wear a hat or other. Anyway, Iâve tried plenty of mineral sunscreens so Iâm unfortunately well versed from all the failures Iâve tried. Blue lizards consistency is lotion-y enough that it gives you grace to rub it in and build in spots you miss. It has no smell!!! it doesnât feel thick and nasty after itâs rubbed in and it doesnât make me feel (as) icky after wearing it all over all day. Admittedly I probably use less than what might be required/recommended but Iâm not fair skinned so I think Iâll survive. Iâm willing to do it thought bc I hate the look of white case so much (aesthetics win I fear). I wear this on my face and body. Got me through Mexican sun, plenty of lake days, and more without any burns. The bottle design is also really nice, itâs nice and small but also not tiny, I used it a lot this summer and I still have some! I like the fact it turns purple under the suns UV to remind u to wear it and itâs reef safe yay!To keep up with everyday face use under make up and for use even when Iâm not âout in the sunâ I still notice some slight white cast but maybe thatâs because Iâm quite anal about it. Either way itâs the best Iâve found for someone with tan/brown skin and Iâve tried soooo many other brands, CeraVe, First Aid Beauty, Cetaphil, Thinksport, neutropenia, good molecules (this one is pretty good but expensive to use on the body since itâs such a tiny bottle, same case w FAB) and countless others and this is the only one I will recommend to someone looking for a good mineral sunscreen. Plus if you want it to blend better (a tip w any mineral) use body oil or moisturize before for better glide and ease to rub into the skin.

I am very sensitive with the sun and I burn very easily.. this 1000% helped me not get burned in hottest days in Palm spring when it was 115 degree weather would definitely recommend only day fall u stay whitr when applying but I’ll take that instead of being sunburned!

Lo tengo para uso diario. En un principio deja muy blanco. Pasan unos segundos y se absorbe.Es espeso y graso pero mi piel es muy seca, entonces va fabuloso conmigo.Una vez se absorbe el protector tu piel se ve natural, de tu color y nada grasa. Me encanta como queda en mi piel.Tengo el think baby y ese a pesar de que son muy parecidos si me deja la piel muy grasosa.Su protección es baja a mi gusto: D.titanio al 8% y óxido de Zinc al 10%.Amo como se ve en mÃ. para una protección baja me encanta!!

Just back from Mexico where we used this product. It is thick and needs a very good shake before use. Needs to be worked in to avoid being white but use small amount of product and put on gradually. If you slap a handful on, you will be rubbing in for along time. Worked really well. Didnât get burnt and stayed on after being in the sea. I put on in morning before heading to the beach/pool and didnât need to re-apply.
