Ferments on Steroids
K-Beauty essences/toners with fermented ingredients are my favorite skincare products. Over the years, they’ve done the most to transform my dull rough skin – improving the tone/texture and brightening, so much so that I frequently get compliments on my [now] 63 year old skin. This Bifida Barrier Ampoule (aka serum) is like my favorite watery essence on steroids. It contains 76% Bifida Ferment Lysate plus Lactococcus Ferment Lysate, Lactobacillus Ferment Lysate, Lactobacillus/Soybean Ferment Extract, Lactobacillus/Punica Granatam Fruit Ferment, Lactobacillus/Pear Juice Ferment and Saccharomyces/Barley Seed Ferment Filtrate, not to mention niacinamide, glycerin, lecithin, ceramides, various peptides and sodium hyaluronate. This is a one stop shop for all your skincare concerns. The formula is a thick viscous gel, that doesn’t get watery on application. It leaves a noticeable stickiness on the skin that never completely dries down or absorbs (so best for nighttime use only). There’s no added fragrance of any kind and the smell is pretty minimal.I’ve been layering a a dropperful of this over a couple “skins” of watery essence every night. Sometimes I top it with a moisturizer, other times not, because it works so well on its own. This does a great job at re-texturizing and re-surfacing the skin so that it looks smooth, plump and bright.

Good, basic k-beauty
I’ve heard good things about this basic k-beauty brand. The serum comes in a very nicely packaged glass bottle with a squeeze top applicator. The bottle and pink serum inside looks very pretty. The serum feels nice on the skin when applied, although slightly tacky afterwards. I live in a dry climate, and it seems to dry out after a while, after which my skin feels normal and not so sticky. However, it might be best applied during the evening. The serum feels hydrating and hasn’t caused any irritation on the skin and doesn’t have an offensive smell. I think it has been helping with breakouts and giving me a dewy look to my skin. It feels very soothing. Overall, it’s been a very pleasant product to use!

Bifida believer
truly my favorite new serum for high quality moisture and healthier skin.My skin is fairly sensitive so I’m careful about trying new products. I absolutely have to know and analyze all the ingredients beforehand. I checked out CUSKIN Dr. Solution’s Bifida set beforehand and their ingredients seemed highly recommended so I gave it a shot.DEFINITELY did not disappoint! Love the ferment lysate!I went ahead and ordered the cream and will order the toner when I’m able to. Highly recommended!FULL INGREDIENTS LIST FROM BOTTLE:Bifida Ferment Lysate(76%), Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Niacinamide, 1,2-Hexanediol, Diglycerin, Lactococcus Ferment Lysate, Lactobacillus Ferment Lysate, Lactobacillus/Soybean Ferment Extract, Lactobacillus/Punica Granatum Fruit Ferment Extract, Lactobacillus/Pear Juice Ferment Filtrate, Saccharomyces/Barley Seed Ferment Filtrate, Adenosine, Water, Squalane, Sodium Hyaluronate, Ceramide NP, Propanediol, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Eclipta Prostrata Extract, Copper Tripeptide-1, Alanine/Histidine/Lysine Polypeptide Copper HCl, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Ethylhexylglycerin , Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Xanthan Gum, Carbomer, Triethyl Citrate, Tromethamine.

Soothing ampoule
Initially, this ampoule feels tacky but it does absorb nicely and dries to a soft touch. I applied it in the morning after a thorough cleansing. I allowed it to thoroughly dry before applying other products. I had to do some research to determine the difference between ampoule and serums. It appears that ampoule such as this has more concentrated ingredients which provide a better moisture barrier. While I am not familiar with the main ingredient — bifida ferment lysate — it does feel like a “coat of armor” on the skin. This probiotic main ingredient is suppose to reduce redness. I’ve only been using this for a few days and can’t verify this claim but this ampoule does feel very soothing on the skin. This product is made in Korea and I have never been disappointed in products from this country.

Bifida Barrier Ampoule
I love to try new skin care products, especially Korean products, so I jumped at the chance to order this. This product arrived well-packaged and undamaged to my house; its packaging/branding is sleek and minimal. I already use skin care products with hyaluronic acid and ceramide; this product has those, plus bifida ferment lysate. The ampoule is thicker than a serum, but absorbs quicky into the skin (most Korean products are designed to “tap” into the skin rather than “rub”). It has very little scent, which I prefer, and it helps my skin feel soft and hydrated. The product is designed to work with a bifida toner and barrier cream (sold separately). At $30 (at time of review), this is pricey, but could be worth it to you for a Korean glow-up.

Bifida Barrier Ampoule
I love discovering new skincare ingredients and Korea seem to be way ahead of the States in this area and it shows because Korean women (and some men) have the most beautiful skin. They look half of their age because they really take skincare seriously. This ampule is so interesting. I’d never heard of Bifida Ferment Lysate before, but the more I researched it, the more interested I became. The first ingredient in this serum is Bifida Ferment Lysate (85%!!!). This ingredient helps with your skin’s elasticity and barrier support. In addition, it also contains Hyaluronic Acid and Ceramide to help skin retain moisture. I use this in the mornings, after I use a retin type of product the night before. I find that it help soothes my skin to prevent any drying caused by the retin products. This is a grea product.
