I bought these single blade Bics because I don’t usually shave every day and my Gillette with 2 blades gets plugged up too often for my taste. I do not have thick whiskers, but these blades are absolutely worthless. Multiple passes with no luck. New razor each time and still no luck. I don’t think I could even cut myself with these shavers! On my 4th razor of package and each is just as worthless as the previous one.Update: My 5th razor actually had an edge worthy of shaving with. The first 4 were literally like trying to shave with a steak knife.

.. I was always using them wrong till I discovered by accident that tilting the face of the razor head almost flat to your face when shaving produces a far closer, smoother shave. They seem to need a different angle than other disposables, but when used correctly they are just as good as more expensive alternatives

I’ve used this particular razor for years but it became obsolete unfortunately as the younger generation required a multi-blade razor. Very pleased that I found this deal on Amazon. Will order again before Xmas.
