Updated review: Customer service is promising. Re: Unsatisfactory machine…
10/8/23 – After speaking with a customer service representative of the company and explaining the progression of this machine from a display problem to fully not functioning in less than 4 months, the company agreed to replace the unit, despite that it is technically out of their 60 day warrantee period. I am writing this edit to my review as it seems that this problem is being handled reasonably considering the brief time I’ve owned the machine. I expect to have a replacement in approximately a week and will add to this review only as needed if there are further problems. Otherwise, I am assuming the new machine will function as expected. Now that it has been almost 4 months I have important information to add to my review. After the second month the digital display began to malfunction so that 8 minutes was reading as 0 minutes. I decided to tolerate this, partly because the return window had already expired. Well, I haven’t used it in at least a few weeks and just tried to turn it on and it won’t even start up. I tried different plugs and tried the remote and tried the on board display buttons. Nothing will get it to turn on. So my final review for this has to be 1 star – if it could be ZERO it would be zero. This $70.00 machine certainly should have lasted longer than 3-4 months. I will put in a claim for a refund anyway, just to see what they say and will report the customer service response to you all – but – bottom line – I DO NOT RECOMMEND this machine.Product was delivered to me just under 4 months ago, and this was my original review: “If the soles of your feet are tender at all (women?) this will be very hard on your feet.” I almost returned this because it was so hard on my feet that it was causing pain. The metal rolling mechanism that massages the bottoms of your feet is really hard and rough on tender soles. It needs some sort of cushion between your feet and the metal which isn’t built into the machine. I ended up putting some shoe insert cushions inside my socks to lessen the extreme pressing/pressure from the rolling metal massagers – this made the device at least usable. It might work better for people who have very tough feet – thinking this might be better for men than women in general. Think twice before you purchase this.

great but wide
great massage! but was too wide for the space we wanted it in. I love all the massage features though. So nice!

Grips feet well
Amazing the foot massage grips your feet like a professional no matter your size. I have small feet was wondering if it would do me justice. The remote doesnât work (cheaply made) but machine works good

Nice Idea, But Not Comfortable
The foot massager looks great and has potential, but unfortunately, it didnât work for me. While the design is nice, the massage itself ended up being more painful than relaxing. The pressure on the bottom of my feet felt harsh, almost like it was ripping the skin off. Itâs not the soothing experience I was hoping for. Maybe it works better for others, but I didnât find it comfortable at all.

Everyone loves it
I bought this as a Fatherâs Day gift for my husband loves it and uses it often. When weHave visitors everyone asks to take it out to use or have purchased their own since.

I understand–and can clarify–what others are saying.
UPDATE: IT BROKE after moderate use.==============Having traveled in Japan, I understand and can explain the issues with those who say it hurt their feet. What that means is their feet needed it more. This is a “pressure point” massager. In Japan and Korea, massages are not for relaxation but for therapy. They are strong and tend to hurt. But they do lasting good. After your feet start to get better, it hurts less and you want it even stronger. That is where the problems come with this product.First: I agree with the others that there is no real control over the massage. It is pretty much on or off. But having experienced oriental massage, I am happy with the monochrome experience–it may not have variety but what you get is authentic, much more like a human massage than other machines I have tried.Second: I am concerned about problems with reliability others expressed. The item did not work or broke soon and customer service was poor. Those reviews are the only reason I did not order three more immediately upon experiencing the massage it delivers. I will give mine a thorough test drive–I tend to use it several hours a day at my desk. If it proves durable for six months, I will order the others, ascribing the 10% failure rate to a high level of flukes and relying on Amazon’s return window of 30 days.UPDATE: After several months of high usage, is working fine. I recommend it. It seems the failures all occur early and you can exchange, but when you get one that works it works well. Also, I find a valuable feature is that the front end is not closed. Thus, you can position your foot to focus anywhere you want. And you can press your foot down or keep it lightly touching the massage surface to allow gradual adjustment to a strong massage. In the end, the lack of control for variety in the remote and the unit itself can be overcome simply by how you position your own foot. Went from four stars to five.
